  • Publication number: 20250075040
Abstract: Systems and methods for producing a covalent organic framework including providing a first monomer to a first zone in a furnace, a second monomer to a second zone in the furnace, and a substrate to a third zone in the furnace, where the third zone is located downstream from the first zone and the second zone. Systems and methods also include heating the furnace to a achieve temperature profile having a range of temperatures where the range of temperatures vaporizes the first monomer the second monomer. Systems and methods further include absorbing, onto the substrate, the first vaporized monomer and the second vaporized monomer to produce a covalent organic framework (COF). Articles produced by systems and methods include a film of a covalent organic framework (COF). The COF is a reaction product of a first monomer and a second monomer, and the COF is arranged in a two-dimensional crystalline lattice.

  • Publication number: 20250064226
Abstract: A convertible highchair is described that includes a bucket seat with a contoured backrest and an adjustable harness to securely and comfortably hold an infant in place while eating or performing various activities. The bucket seat, acting as an infant seat, is also removable to accommodate infants of different sizes and ages. For instance, the bucket seat can be removed to transition the highchair from use as a baby feeding chair to use as a toddler feeding chair, where a toddler seat is height adjustable. The highchair also features a removable tray that is adjustable in distance from the infant to allow for easy access to food and drinks. The tray can also be equipped with a spill-resistant lip to prevent food and drinks from spilling onto the infant's lap or the floor. The highchair also includes a sturdy base with legs that ensure stability on various surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20250041105
Abstract: Muscles held under tension undergo a chemical reaction that generates heat within the muscle, and subsequently that heat contributes to muscle fatigue. Research in the field of physiology and sports medicine has demonstrated that actively cooling an athlete's core body temperature can rapidly rejuvenate a fatigued muscle thereby allowing the athlete to extend the muscle's potential. Mammalians have several areas of glabrous tissue wherein a dense network of veins near the surface of the skin act as heat exchangers for cooling and regulating their core temperature. The process for effective cooling via glabrous tissue is optimized within a narrow range of temperatures. Presented herein is a handheld cooling device which is optimized for the efficient transfer of heat away from the fatigued muscles via direct contact with glabrous tissue.

  • Patent number: 12145803
Abstract: A method and system for tracking and determining completion of sub-tasks to ensure completion of an overall task related to an item are described. The method and system receive item information describing a particular item to be acted upon and a task to complete with the item, such as assembly or shipping of the item. One or more intermediate states of the item are determined based on a process for transitioning to the final completed state. One or more intermediate tasks are determined to accomplish the transition to the completed state. The instructions for completing the tasks are then generated and conveyed for completion.

  • Publication number: 20240364705
Abstract: A new approach is proposed to support an authorization server to continuously monitor and revoke device access authorization to a plurality of resources. A client device associated with a user or consumer first sends a request to the authorization server for authorization to access or perform certain operations on one or more resources. Upon receiving the request, the authorization server makes an initial authorization determination on whether to grant or deny the request for authorization to the one or more resources by the client device based on the type of the request and/or the one or more resources requested to access. After an initial authorization determination is made, the authorization server continues to monitor the resources being accessed and update the initial authorization determination to the client device in real time. An live update in the authorization determination is then provided to the client device in real time.

  • Patent number: 12090280
Abstract: This invention generally provides two tactile stimulation modules, or “tappers”. One tapper is held by a person in each of his hands. Alternatively, a tapper is secured to each wrist or to other parts of the body on opposite sides. Each tapper is powered by a rechargeable battery, and contains both a tactile stimulation transducer, such as an electric motor having either a balanced or unbalanced mass on its output shaft, and a transceiver that communicates with a host or master. Each tapper includes at least one control button and a status indicator. Each tapper contains a micro-controller that performs tasks such as communication, motor activation, user monitoring and control, battery monitoring, low-power sleep, and algorithm execution. At least one tapper can contain at least one optional sensor, which measures a physiological function. Measurements can be used to modify performance of the tactile stimulation transducers.
