  • Patent number: 11885280
Abstract: A cascade type thrust reverser device for a turbomachine of an aircraft, comprising a thrust reverser cascade and a casing, the cascade including first cavities, and the casing comprising an opening defining a housing wherein said cascade can be inserted in a first direction, and the casing and said cascade being in relative translation with respect to one another in the first direction between a first position of the device in which the cascade is entirely positioned in the housing and a second position of the device in which said cascade is at least partially outside said housing. The casing comprises an acoustic treatment panel including second cavities extending in a second plane parallel to the first plane, each first cavity facing a second cavity when the device is in the first position to form an acoustic treatment cell.

  • Publication number: 20240009552
Abstract: Various embodiments provide systems and methods for live action gaming. According to one embodiment, a method facilitates scoring for an in-person, live-action game, for example, a projectile-tag scoring game or the like, involving multiple players. A gaming outfit worn by a first player or a projectile launcher of a second player may determine a shot hit by the second player against the first player based at least in part on detection of an impact of a projectile fired by the projectile launcher with the gaming outfit. A score for the in-person, live-action game may then be updated based on the shot hit.

  • Publication number: 20230409528
Abstract: Centralized data set management techniques are implemented for data sets for machine learning applications. New data sets may be created from a search of managed data set labels. Data objects of the managed data sets that are found in the search are then used to generate a new data set. The new data set is then made available for machine learning applications to use.

  • Patent number: 11788489
Abstract: A cascade for a thrust reversal device intended to be mounted on a turbomachine of an aircraft, the cascade including first partitions extending in a first direction, second fixed partitions extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and a frame inside which the first and second partitions extend, the frame including at least two fixed walls extending according to the first direction, and at least one part of each first partition extending between two second partitions. At least one first partition is mobile according to the second direction between a first position wherein the first partition is distant, in the second direction, from the fixed walls to form a plurality of resonating cavities with the first partitions and/or the fixed walls, and a second position wherein the one first partition is in contact with a fixed wall or another first partition.

  • Publication number: 20230325583
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for a format agnostic document viewer with document translation that provide the ability for a user to either select a portion of the viewed document text in the format agnostic viewer and have it translated into a selected language, or for the user to have the entire document presented in the format agnostic viewer in translated form. The translated text may be shown side-by-side with the original document text in the format agnostic viewer, or can replace the original text on the visible page in the format agnostic viewer. The translated text may be formatted according to, or displayed with, some enhancements to account for differences in the original text and translated text or other differences.

  • Publication number: 20230303261
Abstract: A method of reducing noise includes: driving a first propulsor using one or more of the first electrical motor and the first thermal engine, and driving a second propulsor of the second hybrid power plant using one or more of the second electrical motor and the second thermal engine; receiving a signal indicative of an initial combined noise signature; determining, from the signal, that an initial amplitude variation of a periodically fluctuating amplitude of the initial combined noise signature is greater than an amplitude variation threshold; modulating a thrust produced by the second hybrid power plant, by changing a power output of the second thermal engine or the second electrical motor, to produce a modulated combined noise signature having a modulated amplitude variation less than the initial amplitude variation; and compensating for a difference in thrusts generated by the first hybrid power plant and the second hybrid power plant.

  • Publication number: 20230277801
Abstract: This invention generally provides two tactile stimulation modules, or “tappers”. One tapper is held by a person in each of his hands. Alternatively, a tapper is secured to each wrist or to other parts of the body on opposite sides. Each tapper is powered by a rechargeable battery, and contains both a tactile stimulation transducer, such as an electric motor having either a balanced or unbalanced mass on its output shaft, and a transceiver that communicates with a host or master. Each tapper includes at least one control button and a status indicator. Each tapper contains a micro-controller that performs tasks such as communication, motor activation, user monitoring and control, battery monitoring, low-power sleep, and algorithm execution. At least one tapper can contain at least one optional sensor, which measures a physiological function. Measurements can be used to modify performance of the tactile stimulation transducers.
