  • Publication number: 20210310307
Abstract: A method of geosteering in a wellbore construction process uses an earth model that defines boundaries between formation layers and petrophysical properties of the formation layers in a subterranean formation. Sensor measurements related to the wellbore construction process are inputted to the earth model. An estimate is obtained for a relative geometrical and geological placement of the well path with respect to a geological objective using a trained reinforcement learning agent. An output action based on the sensor measurement for influencing a future profile of the well path with respect to the estimate.

  • Patent number: 10995702
Abstract: An assembly for a rear of a dual-flow turbomachine having a longitudinal axis includes a secondary nozzle and a heating system. The secondary nozzle is defined about the longitudinal axis and ejects a mixture of the flows coming from a secondary vein and a primary vein of the turbomachine. The secondary nozzle is of a convergent-divergent form with a neck corresponding to a minimal cross-cross-section of the secondary nozzle. The heating system is located on a portion of the internal circumference of the secondary nozzle longitudinally in the region of the neck or upstream from the neck.

Abstract: A separator, for separating solids from a liquid, comprises a hydrodynamic separator, a first filtration device, a first backwash device, a second filtration device, and a second backwash device. The first filtration device comprises a first inlet at a first level for receiving at least a first portion of the liquid from the hydrodynamic separator, and a first filter for filtering the first portion of the liquid received via the first inlet. During filtration of the first portion of the liquid, the first portion of the liquid passes through the first filter away from the first inlet and a first portion of solids is retained by the first filter. The first filter is located between the first inlet and the first backwash device.

  • Publication number: 20210113806
Abstract: This invention generally provides two tactile stimulation modules, or “tappers”. One tapper is held by a person in each of his hands. Alternatively, a tapper is secured to each wrist or to other parts of the body on opposite sides. Each tapper is powered by a rechargeable battery, and contains both a tactile stimulation transducer, such as an electric motor having either a balanced or unbalanced mass on its output shaft, and a transceiver that communicates with a host or master. Each tapper includes at least one control button and a status indicator. Each tapper contains a micro-controller that performs tasks such as communication, motor activation, user monitoring and control, battery monitoring, low-power sleep, and algorithm execution. At least one tapper can contain at least one optional sensor, which measures a physiological function. Measurements can be used to modify performance of the tactile stimulation transducers.
