  • Patent number: 9243719
Abstract: An adjustable safety relief valve is provided for use on a pressure vessel or a flow line with a pressurized fluid therein. In the preferred embodiment, the safety relief valve comprises a body with a closed bonnet and a chamber therein and an inlet and an outlet; the inlet including a valve seat; a disk member with an attached stem member closable on the valve seat; a mechanism in the body biasing the disk member to rest on the valve seat; a guide member supported in the bonnet to guide and limit disk member movement; and a skirt member affixed to the body, which surrounds the disk member and defines a uniform flow area with the inlet. The presented safety relief valve has improvements, which remove detriments to disk member movement and function, resulting in a safety relief valve with predictable performance and improved reliability.

  • Patent number: 9189551
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to a category based navigation system obtaining user data related to a plurality of users relevant to the primary user. The method further comprises obtaining entity data associated with an entity in a plurality of entities. The category based navigation system then determines one or more entities relevant to the primary user, and determines an initial order of relevance of a set of relevant entities. The method further comprises categorizing and displaying the set of relevant entities with an initial categorization on a user device to the primary user. The category based navigation system may then obtain, via the user device, user feedback, adjust the initial categorization and initial order of relevance based on the user feedback; and display the adjusted categorization and adjusted order of relevance of the set of relevant entities to the primary user on the user device.

  • Patent number: 9124649
Abstract: Methods and systems provide indirect and temporary access to a company's IT infrastructure and business applications. The methods/systems involve establishing an access control center (ACC) to control the access that technical support personnel may have to the company's IT infrastructure and business applications. Thin client terminals with limited functionality may then be set up in the ACC for use by the technical support personnel. The thin client terminals connect the technical support personnel to workstations outside the ACC that operate as virtual desktops. The virtual desktops in turn connect the technical support personnel to the IT infrastructure and business applications. An ACC application may be used to automatically establish the connection between the thin client terminals and the virtual desktops and the virtual desktops and the IT infrastructure and business applications.
