Abstract: A financial transaction system detects an identifier for a user requesting a financial transaction at an interface of the financial transaction system. The financial transactions system accesses from the electronic message service provider for the user using the identifier, at least one electronic message addressed to the user and sent to the user over a network for delivery to the user by the electronic message service provider at least one system accessible via the network and logged into using the identifier. The accessed electronic message is delivered to the user at the interface for the financial transaction system.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for providing an out-of-office notification reminder to a user composing and sending emails from an email account is presented. In particular, an Out-of-Office utility provides a notification reminder to an email sender if the sender composes an email to an out-of-office recipient from whom the sender had previously received an automated out-of-office reply. When an automated out-of-office reply is initially received by a sender, the Out-of-Office utility allows the email software to capture and store the out-of-office notification data (e.g., sender and recipient e-mail Identifiers (IDs), email recipient's out-of-office dates, and notification message). When the sender types in an e-mail ID while composing an email message, the e-mail program scans an up-to-date (current) file of previously received out-of-office information.

Abstract: An Out-of-Office utility provides a notification reminder to an email sender and automatically populates the address field with an email address of a specific backup recipient when the sender composes an email to an out-of-office recipient from whom the sender had previously received an automated out-of-office reply. When an automated out-of-office reply is initially received by the sender's email application, the Out-of-Office utility captures and stores the out-of-office notification data (e.g., sender and recipient e-mail Identifiers (IDs), email recipient's out-of-office dates, backup recipient's email address, and actual notification message). When the sender types in an e-mail ID while composing an email message, the utility scans an up-to-date (current) file of previously received out-of-office information. If there is an email ID match, the utility displays a pop-up window alerting and notifying the sender of the previously received message.

When composing a communication, multiple mirrored site addresses are embedded with a target site address. The sender may request to enter the mirrored site addresses or a browser supplies the mirrored site addresses. At each client system receiving the communication, selections of site addresses accessible for each intended recipient are detected. Thus, each client system, when outputting the communication, displays the selection of mirrored site address accessible to the intended recipient accessing that client system.

In response to receiving the command, the operating system shell determines whether or not a directory re-order option is set. In response to determining that the directory re-order option is set, the operating system shell locates the target executable by searching one or more file system directories for the target binary executable in accordance with an order indicated by a set of dynamic weights associated with directories among said one or more file system directories. The set of dynamic weights is then updated based upon the determined location of the target executable in the file system.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for enabling user-customization of an ATM display/receipt for a transaction carried out at an automated teller machine (ATM). The customer/user of the ATM creates/selects specific alerts to be outputted during subsequent ATM transactions. The alerts/notices are linked to the customer account. During subsequent access to the user's account via an ATM, the pre-selected alert/notice is displayed to the user or printed on the transaction receipt.

A chat support system detects a particular messaging request from a requester for initiating a communication with an intended recipient who is unavailable to respond to the messaging request and, in response, the chat support system selects a backup recipient designated to receive the particular messaging request. The chat support system then directs the opening of a communication channel for a messaging session between the requester and the backup recipient. Then, the chat support system detects a message log of at least one message entry for the messaging session between the requester and the backup recipient.

Abstract: A method, system, and program for automated selection of a backup recipient and distribution of an instant messaging request to the backup recipient are provided. A communication support system detects a messaging request initiated by a requester for an intended recipient. The communication support system determines whether the intended recipient is available to respond to the messaging request from the requester. If the intended recipient is unavailable to respond to the messaging request from the requester, the communication support system searches at least one of a directory entry, a backup directory entry, and a schedule entry for the intended recipient to identify a designated backup for the messaging request.

A chat controller for facilitating a chat session enables chat participants to invite additional users to join in the chat session. The chat controller dynamically generates a mapping of the chat participants to graphically represent a separate correspondence between each invited additional user and each inviting chat participant. The mapping is displayed within a user interface of a current participant or an invited additional user. Further, the displayed mapping is dynamically updated to reflect additional invitation history as the chat session continues.

Abstract: A system and method for dynamically adjusting or modifying the password expiration period for a given user based upon how a user accesses the password-protected resource. The tighter the physical control of how a user can access a resource results in a loosening or maintaining of the password expiration period to be a relatively long period of time, whereas the looser the physical control of how a user can access a resource results in a tightening of the password expiration period to be a relatively short period of time. The password expiration period is adjusted based on both actual usage patterns as well as variances in such usage patterns.
