  • Patent number: 5708361
Abstract: An antenna arrangement for a magnetic resonance apparatus has at least two adjacent individual antennas. Each individual antenna has at least one conductor loop. For mutual decoupling, the conductor loops of the adjacent individual antennas each have an interruption. The interruptions are electrically connected in parallel and are jumpered with at least one capacitive element, the capacitive element having a capacitance value at which the individual antennas are decoupled from one another.

  • Patent number: 5471142
Abstract: An antenna arrangement for a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus is composed of an array having at least three linearly polarized local coils which mutually overlap to such an extent that they are geometrically decoupled. Each local coil is separately connected to a combination network wherein a complex operation between the output signals of the respective local coils is produced such that a radio-frequency signal corresponding to a circular polarization is obtained.
