    Abstract: In some aspects, a number of subsystem models is accessed by a computer system. Each subsystem model represents dynamic attributes of a distinct physical subsystem in a subterranean region. At least one of the number of subsystem models represents dynamic attributes of a mechanical subsystem in the subterranean region. A discrete fracture network (DFN) model representing a fracture network in the subterranean region is accessed at the computer system. The DFN model includes junction models. Each junction model represents interactions between a respective set of subsystem models associated with the junction model. Junction variables of the junction model can be defined based on dynamic attributes of the respective set of subsystem models associated with the junction model. A stimulation treatment for the subterranean region can be simulated by operating the DFN model including the junction variables.

Interactions between adjacent pairs of the rock blocks are modeled by separate joint models. The joint model for each adjacent pair of rock blocks represents inter-block mechanics between the adjacent rock blocks, for example, as pre-defined joints. The block models and joint models are used to simulate an injection treatment of the subterranean zone.

    Abstract: In a facility such as a plant, error detection can be performed by using characteristic amounts based on a statistical probability characteristic, but when sensor data is acquired at long sampling intervals for reducing costs, those intense changes cannot always be caught. Furthermore, when the sensor sampling time is not synchronized with the start of a sequence, a time difference occurs between sensor data obtained in the same sequence at different times, so it is not possible to determine a statistical probability characteristic for areas of intense change. Therefore, with the present invention a statistical probability characteristic for a time period to be monitored is calculated by estimating the sensor data that cannot be obtained, and error detection is performed on the basis of that statistical probability characteristic with respect to sequences with intense changes. Thus, it is possible to perform error detection with respect to sequences with intense changes.

The apparatus includes: a receiving module, an obtaining module, a first processing module and a second processing module. According to the present invention, after a signal indicating a key is kept pressed, a current acceleration start time is obtained, and the keystroke is responded when the current acceleration start time arrives. Therefore, the user does not have to press a key repeatedly, and the key operation can be automatically performed, which reduces the number of keystrokes needed and makes the operation simpler and less time-consuming.
