  • Patent number: 9667650
Abstract: Processes and systems to create a plurality of sequence number spaces in a security association at a transmission device. Each sequence number space corresponds to a respective class of traffic. Each sequence number space is identified by a unique selector value. For each sequence number space, a sequence number counter is created for counting a sequence of outbound packets of a class of traffic corresponding to the sequence number space. For an outbound packet of a particular class of traffic, a selector value of a sequence number space of the particular class of traffic is written into a first portion of a sequence number field in the outbound packet. Low-order bits of the current value of a sequence number counter, associated with the sequence number space of the particular class of traffic, is written into a second portion of the sequence number field. The sequence number counter is then incremented.

  • Publication number: 20170063179
Abstract: A single phase brushless motor and a power tool are provided. The single phase brushless motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and windings wound around the stator core. The stator core includes a yoke and at least two teeth. The tooth includes a tooth body and a tooth tip. The tooth tip includes first and second pole shoes. The two pole shoes of each tooth are symmetrical about a center line of the tooth body. Each tooth defines a positioning groove facing the rotor between the two pole shoes. Pole shoes of adjacent two of the at least two teeth are spaced apart by a slot opening. A width of the positioning groove is greater than a width of the slot opening. The peak value of the cogging torque of the motor is increased, and the motor has a large startup torque.

The stator core includes a yoke and at least two teeth. The tooth includes a tooth body and a tooth tip. The tooth tip includes first and second pole shoes. The rotor is received in a space defined between the first pole shoes and the second pole shoes. Each tooth forms a positioning groove facing the rotor between the first pole shoe and the second pole shoe. The first and second pole shoes are symmetrical about a central line of the tooth body and the positioning groove deviates toward the first pole shoe, such that the rotor startup capability in one direction is greater than the rotor startup capability in an opposite direction. The single phase motor has a larger startup torque with enhanced startup capability.

  • Patent number: 9436247
Abstract: A rack server system is provided. When a power source supplied to the rack server system is normal, a part of the power source is supplied to a management module in the rack server system and the other part of the power source charges the energy storage component. When the power source supplied to the rack server system is abnormal, the power source will be blocked and not be supplied to the management module, thereby preventing the rack server system from operating abnormally. In stead of the power source, the electricity stored in the energy storage component is supplied to the management module. Herein, the management module also records this situation as the state information about the rack server system whereby the rack server system can be managed according to the state information.

  • Patent number: 9374340
Abstract: First and second nested virtual private networks share a common rekey service. A first key server generates first cryptographic keys and policies for use by gateways of the VPN to encrypt and decrypt data packets. The key server establishes a connection with a second key server to generate second cryptographic keys and policies independently of the first key server for use by encryption units of a second VPN that is nested with and operates independently of the first VPN. The first key server refreshes the first cryptographic keys in the first VPN gateways using a common rekey service, and cooperates with the second key server to refresh the second cryptographic keys in the second VPN encryption units using the common rekey service.

  • Publication number: 20150380192
Abstract: A starter for an internal combustion engine includes an electric motor and a solenoid switch. The solenoid switch includes a housing, a fixed core, a movable core, two spaced contacts, and a conductive member arranged to interconnect the contacts when the solenoid is turned on. The movable core is connected to a pinion of the motor which is movable to engage with a flywheel of the engine. The fixed core includes a pull-in coil of aluminum wire, a holding coil of copper wire, and a magnetic core. The motor is connected in series with the pull-in coil. When the solenoid is energized, the coils generate a magnetic field that attracts the movable core to the magnetic core, thereby the moving the pinion into engagement with the flywheel and causing the conductive member to interconnect the contacts.
