    Abstract: This invention relates to a plasma chemical vapor deposition microwave resonant cavity, which has a high focusing ability and can be flexibly configured. The resonant cavity is a rotary body formed by two isosceles triangles intersecting at the vertex angles with a Boolean union operation. The base angles of the two triangles are 50°˜75°. Between 2n?˜(2n+0.5) ?, the base lengths of the two triangles are equal or have an n? difference, where n is an integer and ? is the microwave wavelength. The distance between the centroids of the upper and the lower isosceles triangles is 0˜4/5?. A strongly focused electric field can be formed in the cavity by adjusting the base lengths, base angles and centroid distance. Different dielectric windows, microwave coupling modes and gas inlet and outlet modes can be selected in the cavity to fit specific applications. The cavity has simple structures.

    Abstract: A rigid-flex circuit board includes a core substrate, a first adhesive layer, and a first outer conductive circuit layer. The core substrate includes a first and a second base layer, a first and a second conductive circuit layer respectively on the first and second base layer, and an insulating layer between the first and second base layer. The first and second conductive circuit layer are embedded in the insulating layer. The first adhesive layer is on the first base layer and defines a first opening which exposes the first opening. The first outer conductive circuit layer is on the first adhesive layer and defines an opening aligned with the first opening. A portion of the core substrate located within the first opening is defined as a flexible board section, and the portions of the core substrate located outside of the first opening are defined as a hard board section.

The first position precedes a second position occupied by the center segment in the scan line order and the center segment corresponds to a center of the image. The apparatus also includes an encoder to encode the segments in the encoding order, and a wireless transmitter to transmit the encoded portions to the display device in the encoding order in which the encoded segments are encoded.

The PCD may be configured to detect when the PICC is nearby and increase its duty cycle to thereby increase the magnetic field imposed on the PICC. The PICC may include circuitry to receive and convert the magnetic field to electric potential or voltage. The voltage may be store at a capacitor for BLE's usage.

    Abstract: Power transmitting unit (PTU) usable with a wireless power transfer system to supply power and maintain a control signaling link to a local power receiving unit (PRU). A cross-connection circumstance between the PTU and a remote PRU is determined, where a control signaling link between the PTU and the remote PRU is established in an absence of power transmission to the remote PRU from the PTU. In response to the cross-connection circumstance, the control signaling link with the remote PRU is terminated while the supply of power and the control signaling link with the local PRU is maintained. In a related embodiment, a wrong-placement characteristic where power is transferred to a rogue local PRU in an absence of a control signaling link with that PRU, is detected. In response, the supply of power is maintained for at least a waiting period.

The fusion protein comprises, from the N-terminus to the C-terminus, a human (FVIII), a flexible peptide connector, at least one rigid unit of a human chorionic gonadotropin ?-subunit carboxyl terminal peptide, and a half-life extending portion (preferentially selected from a human IgG Fc variant). The fusion protein has a similar level of biological activity as a recombinant (FVIII) and an extended in vivo half-life, thereby improving pharmacokinetics and drug efficacy.

The OSS is managed by monitoring (200) an actual capability of the data communications network, and performance of an OSS operation is predicted (220) based on reference performance information and on the actual capability of the DCN. An alarm is raised based on a comparison (230) between the predicted performance and a defined threshold associated with the operation of the operational support system. Compared to known OSS monitoring to detect when an OSS operation has failed to complete, this raising of the alarm can enable pre-emptive management action. By making the prediction based on actual DCN capability, the prediction can have reduced errors from variability or unpredictability in DCN capability.
