The battery safety evaluation system may include internal sensing elements attached to the interior battery compartment and configured to capture data representative of an internal battery condition event. The battery safety evaluation system may further include an external sensing element attached to the battery housing and configured to capture data representative of an external battery condition event. In addition, the battery safety evaluation system may include a controller for determining a cause of the battery condition based at least in part on a time sequence of events generated from the internal data captured by the internal sensing element and the external data captured by the external sensing element.

    Abstract: A hot extrusion die for a special-shaped square pipe includes a die cavity sleeve with a special-shaped cavity. A hot extrusion mandrel is arranged in the die cavity sleeve. An area between the die cavity sleeve and the hot extrusion mandrel forms a die cavity hole. A first extrusion diversion hole and a second extrusion diversion hole are arranged below the die cavity hole. An integral centroid of the die cavity hole is located at a circle center of a radial cross section of the die cavity sleeve. Further disclosed is a hot extrusion integral forming method for a special-shaped square pipe, including: heating and expanding a blank material; heating the blank material again after expanding; performing hot extrusion on the blank material; and cooling the formed special-shaped square pipe in air to a room temperature, and inspecting surface quality and mechanical properties of the special-shaped square pipe.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a high-plasticity rapidly-degradable Mg—Li—Gd—Ni alloy, including the following chemical elements by mass percentage: 1.0-10.0% of Gd, 0.2-2.0% of Ni, 5.5-10% of Li, and the rest of Mg and inevitable impurities. The impurities have a total content less than or equal to 0.3%. The present disclosure further provides a preparation method of the high-plasticity rapidly-degradable Mg—Li—Gd—Ni alloy. The high-plasticity rapidly-degradable Mg—Li—Gd—Ni alloy provided by the present disclosure constructs an ?-Mg+?-Li dual-phase matrix structure by introducing ?-Li with a body-centered cubic (BCC) structure with relatively more slip systems to improve plasticity of the alloy, then adds a certain amount of Gd element to weaken texture and promote non-basal plane slip, and further improves plasticity. In addition, by introducing the high-potential Ni-containing LPSO phase, a large potential difference with ?-Mg and ?-Li is formed to increase the degradation performance.
