    Abstract: A detection method of a sensor in a gas turbine includes adopting a pressure sensor to measure a pushing force of a push rod; measuring a first rotational angle of a guide vane where a first angle sensor is mounted; measuring a second rotational angle of the guide vane where a second angle sensor is mounted; obtaining a maximum measured rotational angle deviation from the absolute value of a difference value between the first and second rotational angles; calculating a maximum calculated deviation from the pushing force of the push rod; calculating the absolute value of a difference value between the maximum measured deviation and the maximum calculated deviation; and determining that the angle sensors and the pressure sensor have appropriate measurement accuracy; or, if the absolute value is greater than the standard value, determining that the angle and/or pressure sensors require calibration.

    Abstract: A feed accelerator for a centrifugal separator includes a set of vanes or grooves built into its outer surface to define a plurality of channels. Channel openings at the bottom of the accelerator face in the direction of rotation, and the channels curve upwards, aligning with the rotation axis at the top of the accelerator, so as to accelerate the feed liquid from bottom to top of the accelerator. The entry and exit points of the channels are positioned within smoothening zones that promote a circumferentially homogeneous distribution of the feed material. The purpose of this device is to provide minimal shear forces on the channel entrances to minimize shear stress on the feed liquid which can contain fragile solids in suspension. It is intended to be used primarily in automatic piston discharge liquid/solid centrifugal separators.

    Abstract: A method of forming a hybrid physically and chemically cross-linked double-network hydrogel with highly recoverable and mechanical properties in a single-pot synthesis is provided. The method comprises the steps of combining the hydrogel precursor reactants into a single pot. The hydrogel precursor reactants include water; a polysaccharide; a methacrylate monomer; an ultraviolet initiator; and a chemical crosslinker. Next the hydrogel precursor reactants are heated to a temperature higher than the melting point of the polysaccharide and this temperature is retained until the polysaccharide is in a sol state. Then the single-pot is cooled to a temperature lower than the gelation point of the polysaccharide and this temperature is retained to form a first network. Thereafter, photo-initiated polymerization of the methacrylate monomer occurs via the ultraviolet initiator to form the second network.
