Abstract: Methods and systems for detecting systemwide service issues by using anomaly localization. In an example, a method includes receiving time-series monitoring data for multiple services, the time-series monitoring data including multiple dimensions and an error metric; for the monitoring data from each service, evaluating scopes within the monitoring data based on an objective function for a time-series of the error metric to identify at least one anomalous scope, each scope including at least one dimension and a value for the dimension; based on evaluating the scopes, generating a ranked list of scopes for each service based on objective function scores for the scopes; correlating the ranked lists of scopes across the multiple services to identify a cross-service anomaly; and generating an alert for the services based on the cross-service anomaly, the alert indicating at least one scope as a potential root cause for the cross-service anomaly.

The power converter can have a fifth switch, which can provide a discharge path for discharging the first inductor, the second inductor, and/or the capacitor. Another capacitor can be between the fifth switch and ground. The power converter can provide an output voltage that is at least about ? of the input voltage. The power converter can include resonance circuitry, such as a third inductor, for soft switching the fifth switch.

Abstract: A customizable routing system allows designers to create custom connection layouts that can be stored, turned into templates, reused, and further customized. The system describes designer-input custom connection layouts in terms of “structural directives” that specify its patterns and properties instead of using precise dimensions. Structural directives may describe particular connection patterns between structural components (e.g., backbone or fishbone), the placement, width, direction or layer of specific structural components, and properties of structural components relative to other components. These structural directives are implemented generally during routing, such as through design constraints, which allows the router to locally optimize the design (e.g., for cost or wire length) while considering the structural intentions of the designer.
