  • Publication number: 20180268474
Abstract: According to various embodiments, techniques and mechanisms described herein facilitate the identification of fraudulent request messages. In one example, a request message associated with a user identifier is received at a request server in a request system that includes a plurality of such request servers. An estimated message count value associated with the user identifier is identified. The estimated message count value identifies an estimated number of messages associated with the user identifier that were previously received by the request servers. A response message is transmitted when it is determined that the estimated message count is below a designated threshold.

  • Patent number: 9320459
Abstract: A safety blood collection device including holder housing adapted to maintain a needle cannula with a puncture tip extending from a forward end thereof and to receive a sample collection tube through a rearward end thereof. A retainer coacts with the holder housing to maintain the needle in a first position with the puncture tip of the needle extending from the forward end of the holder housing. The retainer is adapted for activation so as to release the needle from this first position, thereby permitting the needle to move based on the force of gravity and the weight of the needle to a second position in which the puncture tip of the needle cannula is contained within the interior chamber of the holder housing. As such, upright placement of the holder housing upon activation of the retainer will permit the needle to drop within the holder housing, thereby containing the needle cannula therein as a self-contained assembly.

Abstract: A package component includes a substrate, wherein the substrate has a front surface and a back surface over the front surface. A through-via penetrates through the substrate. A conductive feature is disposed over the back surface of the substrate and electrically coupled to the through-via. A first dielectric pattern forms a ring covering edge portions of the conductive feature. An Under-Bump-Metallurgy (UBM) is disposed over and in contact with a center portion of the conductive feature. A polymer contacts a sidewall of the substrate. A second dielectric pattern is disposed over and aligned to the polymer. The first and the second dielectric patterns are formed of a same dielectric material, and are disposed at substantially a same level.
