  • Publication number: 20080170460
Abstract: A multipath accessible semiconductor memory device having a mailbox area and a mailbox access control method thereof are provided. The semiconductor memory device includes N number of ports, at least one shared memory area allocated in a memory cell array, and N number of mailbox areas for message communication. The at least one shared memory area is operationally connected to the N number of ports, and is accessible through a plurality of data input/output lines to form a data access path between the at least one shared memory area and one port, having an access right to the at least one memory area, among the N number of ports. The N number of mailbox areas are provided in one-to-one correspondence with the N number of ports and are accessible through the plurality of data input/output lines when an address of a predetermined area of the at least one shared memory area is applied to the semiconductor memory device. An efficient layout of mailboxes and an efficient message access path can be obtained.

  • Publication number: 20070112131
Abstract: Disclosed are a thermoplastic elastomer using waster rubber and a rubber product produced therefrom. This invention provides a thermoplastic elastomer using waste rubber, obtained by loading a mixture comprising waste rubber powder, an olefin-based thermoplastic resin, and a compatibilizer selected from styrene compounds into an extruder and then kneading it, and a rubber product produced therefrom. The extruder is preferably a twin-screw extruder in which two shafts, each having at least two forward screw parts, at least one kneading disc part, and at least one backward screw part, are arranged in parallel to each other. The thermoplastic elastomer according to this invention has rubber properties and thermoplastic properties and may be recycled several times.

  • Patent number: 7083127
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for modifying the surface of a polymer powder utilizes a rotational ultrasonic treatment that pulverizes polymer materials, such as rubber, waste rubber, and plastics, and modifies the surface, so that the polymer materials can be recycled more efficiently. A hopper feeds the pulverized polymer powder. A rotor which is linked to the bottom of the hopper as an integrated body, is linked to a driving mechanism through a power transfer device, and rotates drive. A rotating disk is linked to the bottom of the rotor as an integrated body, and is provided with a downsloped plane. A shaft extends through the hopper, the rotor, and the rotating disk, and discharges the polymer powder fed from the hopper out of the bottom of the rotating disk. An ultrasonic vibrator is positioned at the bottom of the rotating disk, and modifies the polymer powder fed by the shaft using ultrasonic waves.
