    Abstract: Disclosed is a fabrication method of UBM for flip chip interconnections of a semiconductor device, consisting of dipping a patterned wafer into a plating solution containing materials supplying nickel and copper ions, forming a copper layer at a predetermined current density for connection between a chip pad and a solder bump and for residual stress-buffering, and forming a nickel-copper alloy layer at an increased current density for prevention of diffusion between the solder and the pad. The method is advantageous in terms of low fabrication cost due to not requiring an etching process, while meeting the conditions of wettability, diffusion-barrier function and small residual stress required to form UBM on the patterned wafer.

The method is advantageous in terms of maximum efficiency of use of the surface area of PCB, and fineness and high integration of circuits because of not requiring an additional etching process.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a hand truck with an electrically operated lifting platform. The hand truck includes a frame on both sides of which two guide rails are formed. The frame is provided with a screw shaft vertically supported on the frame to be vertically moved, one or more stabilizing bars forwardly extended from the frame, and two wheels rotatably attached to the rear portion of the frame. A lifting platform is guided by the guide rails and engaged with the screw shaft. A platform moving unit is comprised of a first drive motor for providing rotating force. The platform is situated in the lifting platform to allow the lifting platform to be moved selectively upward and downward along the screw shaft by the operation of the first drive motor. A control unit is electrically and controllably connected to the first drive motor and a power source.

    Abstract: A performance monitoring system for an all-optical network utilizes a multi-port optical switch and measuring instruments, such as an optical spectrum analyzer and a combination of a tunable optical filter and a quality factor calculator, to provide various signal quality parameters for each optical channel in the network. Quality factor calculations for the optical channels are based upon probability density distribution parameters. Performance monitoring is conducted for an all-optical network during normal operations without having to disconnect any of the optical components from the network.

The supporting device has a central seat portion disposed with an inner bearing. The spreading device is rotatable secured to the bearing. The wind guiding device has a central shaft seat and a peripheral rim. Multiple radial inclined wind guiding vanes are disposed between the shaft seat and the peripheral rim. The air flow blows from the wind exit of a wind pipe of an air-conditioning system onto the vanes and is guided thereby so as to exert a rotating force onto the spreading device, whereby the spreading device itself is rotatably driven by the air flow without using electricity to evenly spread the air flow.
