The multimedia session is represented by a vector of the rebuffering start times of each rebuffering event, and a vector of the rebuffering durations of each rebuffering event. Audiovisual quality features are generated from the vectors of per-time-unit scores of video and audio quality. Buffering features are generated from the vector of rebuffering start times of each rebuffering event and the vector of rebuffering durations of each rebuffering event. A multimedia session MOS is then estimated based on the generated audiovisual quality features and the generated buffering features.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a mobility robustness implementation method, a device, and an apparatus, used to detect unnecessary handover from a 5GS to an EPS. The method comprises: a first network-side apparatus determining first measurement information after a terminal has performed inter-system handover; and sending the determined first measurement information to a second network-side apparatus, such that the second network-side apparatus notifies, according to the first measurement information, the terminal to continue measuring a cell signal under a source system of the inter-system handover. In the method, when inter-system handover occurs, the first network-side apparatus enables the terminal to continue measuring the cell signal under the source system by means of the first measurement information, thereby determining whether the terminal has performed an unnecessary handover.

This is made possible by determining a delay tolerance of the data and determining a cost prediction for transmission (1:6) within said delay tolerance, e.g. when a cheaper connection (1:4) is used. Advantages may include reduced price to pay for the transmission, less energy consumption, and avoided usage of precious radio resources and network resources at times when the traffic load is high.
