    Abstract: Disclosed are a D2D resource allocation method, and data transmission method and device, the D2D resource allocation method comprising: determining a D2D resource configuration corresponding to the quality of service (QoS) level of a D2D service; and transmitting to a user equipment (UE) the information of the D2D resource configuration corresponding to the service quality level of the D2D service. The D2D data transmission method comprises: according to the received information of the D2D resource configuration corresponding to the service quality level of the D2D service, selecting a transmission resource for the D2D service to be transmitted; and transmitting the data of the D2D service over the selected transmission resource. The D2D service transmission requirement is considered in allocating and selecting D2D resources, thus further improving the system D2D resource allocation efficiency without affecting the D2D service transmission requirement.

    Abstract: A technique for providing information derived from data traffic between a telecommunications network and the Internet is disclosed. The telecommunications network provides mobile Internet access to a plurality of mobile subscribers using IP addresses allocated to the mobile subscribers. Data packets in data traffic are analyzed at an interface between the telecommunications network and the Internet. Each analyzed data packet includes an IP address allocated to one of the plurality of mobile sub-scribers. For each of the analyzed data packets, a subscriber identity is retrieved based on the IP address included therein using an allocation function of the telecommunications network. The allocation function associates sub-scriber identities to IP addresses. Information derived from the analyzed data packets is stored in combination with the retrieved subscriber identities in a storing unit. An access interface for accessing the stored information is also provided.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a method and device for transmission on unlicensed spectrum in a UE and a base station. In view of the problem of DFS constraints and PHICH resource waste that is caused by communication of an uplink synchronous HARQ on unlicensed spectrum, in the present invention, logical information is configured so that PUSCHs transmitted through different sub-frames on different physical carriers form one logical carrier, and PHICH resources are reserved for the logical carrier. As an embodiment, downlink signaling is sent in a sub-frame for sending a PHICH so as to indicate transmission bandwidth for data retransmission. The solution provided in the present invention saves PHICH resources and eliminates the constraints on the DFS by the synchronous HARQ. Besides, the present invention reuses the CA scheme in the existing LTE as much as possible, and has high compatibility.

    Abstract: A method and a scoring node for estimating a user's Quality of Experience, QoE, when a service is delivered in a media stream to the user by means of a communication network. Quality-related parameters pertaining to the service delivery are extracted, and an individual opinion score is determined for each of a set of quality models by applying each respective quality model in the set on the quality-related parameters. An aggregated opinion score is then determined as a weighted average of the individual opinion scores. The aggregated opinion score can then be used as an estimation of the user's QoE for the service delivery, e.g. when evaluating the service and/or the communication network.

    Abstract: A method in a network node for improving transmission control protocol, TCP, performance in a cellular network is provided. The network node handles TCP packet transferral between a user equipment and a server in the cellular network. The user equipment and the server are configured to adapt a retransmission timeout setting based on round trip times for performed TCP packet transferrals. When the network node obtains an indication of a handover outage being upcoming for the user equipment, the network node deliberately delays, in a time period preceding the indicated handover outage, a transferal of a TCP packet between the server and the user equipment to increase the round trip time for the TCP packet.

The AF functionality thus provides a mechanism by which content may be pre-fetched to a wireless device in advance of charging for that content, while reliably conditioning the later consumption of that content at the wireless device on the online charging decisions made by an online charging system. In another aspect, a wireless device is configured to send a consumption request for pre-fetched content towards such an AF and condition its consumption of the pre-fetched content on the consumption response returned to it.
