In particular, the present invention relates to a laminate of metallic or non-metallic heat reflective film, either flat or in a manner to create air pockets, utilized to increase the holding time a food stays warm in the container. The container can have flat surface or dividing walls depending on the use of the box.

Abstract: A fluid supply system includes a fluid supply subsystem and a fluid bottle subsystem. Pressurized air or other suitable gas supplied to the fluid supply system causes a piston housed within the fluid supply subsystem to translate toward the fluid bottle subsystem, thereby sealing an interface between the fluid supply subsystem and the fluid bottle subsystem. The pressurized air or gas also causes a fluid (e.g., a coolant or rinse liquid) within the fluid bottle subsystem to flow through the piston and out of the fluid supply subsystem where it may be used. The fluid supply system enables the fluid bottle subsystem to be installed or uninstalled from the fluid supply subsystem without requiring bleeding off of the air or gas supplied to the fluid supply system and/or without requiring the fluid bottle subsystem to be rotated or twisted into place relative to the fluid supply subsystem.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for the drying of a wet substrate, the method comprising treating the substrate with a solid particulate material at ambient or elevated temperature, the treatment being carried out in an apparatus comprising a drum comprising perforated side walls, wherein the drum comprising perforated side walls is rotated so as to facilitate increased mechanical action between the substrate and the particulate material. Preferably, the drum comprising perforated side walls has a capacity of between 5 and 50 liters for each kg of fabric in the load and is rotated at a speed which generates G forces in the range of from 0.05 to 0.99 G, and the method is carried out at a temperature of between 5° and 120° C. Preferably, the solid particulate material comprises a multiplicity of particles at a particle to fabric addition level of 0.1:1-10:1 by mass, wherein the particles comprise polymeric particles, non-polymeric particles, or mixtures of polymeric and non-polymeric particles.

Abstract: Various methods and devices maintain a registration nip and a transfer nip at the same sheet feeding speed when the leading edge of a sheet is between them. These methods and devices create a buckle in the sheet by increasing the sheet feeding speed of the registration nip while maintaining the transfer nip at the original sheet feeding speed during a first portion of when the sheet is simultaneously within the registration nip and the transfer nip. Such methods and devices then decrease the sheet feeding speed of the registration nip after creating the amount of buckle in the sheet and maintain the registration nip and the transfer nip at the same sheet feeding speed to maintain that specific amount of buckle in the sheet during the remaining portion of when the sheet is simultaneously within the registration nip and the transfer nip.

Abstract: A cap for a container that stores and dispenses fluids or gels that includes a shroud having a shroud wall surrounding an opening and a collar connected on the shroud so that the collar selectively rotates relative to the shroud, is provided. The collar is rotatable between a closed position and an open position. The actuator is connected to the shroud, and has a contact portion. The contact portion is in the opening of the shroud. The actuator is movable in the closed position and the open position by a force that is applied to the contact portion only after removal of a tab.

Abstract: A method of authenticating a content-provider server, the method comprising: determining a domain name of the content-provider server; obtaining a fragment of a database of IP addresses, the fragment corresponding to the domain name of the content-provider server and storing one or more IP addresses associated with the domain name; comparing the IP address of the content-provider server against the IP addresses of the fragment; and providing an indication that the IP address of the content-provider server is included or excluded from the fragment of IP addresses. Additionally, a client computer and server operable to implement the method are described.

Abstract: A method for identifying knowledgeable and available contacts in a given instant messaging system for possible communication purposes. The method includes a computer receiving a keyword and searching for the keyword in correspondence files of users of the instant messaging system. Based on the results of the search, the computer identifies users that have used the keyword in their correspondence. The computer determines the availability of each of the identified users and ranks the identified users based on predefined criteria, which includes at least the determined availability.

Abstract: A device for preventing the overflow of a fluid reservoir, having a first tubular body with a hole through the interior and exterior surfaces at one end, a second tubular body disposed within the first body such that a portion of the interior surface of the first body and the exterior surface of the second body define an air channel, and a floatation device. The position of the tubular bodies relative to one another determine whether air from a fluid reservoir may exit the reservoir via the hole in the end of the first body. The flotation device is connected to an end of the second body and floats in the fluid reservoir wherein movement of the second body relative to the first body is caused by a change in the water level, such that the air channel is opened or closed by the position of the floatation device.

Abstract: An electric motor that includes an electronic motor controller is described. The electronic motor controller includes a motor management circuit and a power supply circuit physically separate from the motor management circuit. The motor management circuit includes an insulated metal substrate, driver components operably attached to the insulated metal substrate and operable to provide output signals for application to windings of the electric motor, at least one current sensor operable for sensing an amount of current applied to the windings of and electric motor, and at least one control device operably attached to the insulated metal substrate for controlling operation of the driver components. The power supply circuit includes a composite circuit card and power processing components operably attached to the circuit card and operable to convert an input voltage into at least one output voltage to be supplied to the motor management circuit.

Abstract: An apparatus for viewing augmented reality images in a hands-free manner includes a tracker base in which various interchangeable trackers may be placed. The interchangeable trackers include an image specialized to an application framework running on a device with an image capture device in range of the image. An arm connects to and extends from the tracker base, and includes a clasp for holding the device. With the augmented reality application running, the device provides a display of the augmented reality images associated with the image on the interchangeable tracker in a hands-free manner. The tracker base spins, providing different viewpoints of the augmented reality images. The tracking element and the image capture device are held in a fixed spatial relationship with respect to one another, resulting in a stable image. The apparatus provides interactions in a multi-system environment by invoking commands between the device and an external multimedia component.

Abstract: In order to maintain a constant laser output pulse power in a RF-energized, sealed-off, diffusion cooled, pulsed, CO2 gas-discharge laser, each laser output pulse is generated by train or burst of shorter RF pulses. When the time between laser output pulses becomes short enough that the power in one pulse would be reduced by gas-discharge heating effects of a previous pulse, power in the RF pulse trains is varied by varying the duration or duty cycle of pulses in the bursts, thereby keeping output-pulse power in the laser output pulses constant. RF pulses in any burst can have a different duration for tailoring the temporal shape of a corresponding laser-output pulse.
