  • Patent number: 7679069
Abstract: A method for optimizing alignment performance in a fleet of exposure systems involves characterizing each exposure system in a fleet of exposure systems to generate a set of distinctive distortion profiles associated with each exposure system. The set of distinctive distortion profiles are stored in a database. A wafer having reference pattern formed thereon is provided for further pattern fabrication and an exposure system is selected from the fleet to fabricate a next layer on the wafer. Linear and higher order parameters of the selected exposure system are adjusted using the distinctive distortion profiles to model the distortion of the reference pattern. Once the exposure system is adjusted, it is used to form a lithographic pattern on the wafer.

  • Publication number: 20100052141
Abstract: An improved Quad Flat No-Lead package is described. The package is formed by encapsulating a die mounted on a leadframe with a moulding compound using a mould chase. The mould chase comprises a number of internal projections which form openings in the mould compound to expose regions of the leadframe. These exposed regions of the leadframe may then be used for soldering the package to a substrate. The arrangement of the openings may be designed such that each aperture is the same shape and size and/or that the apertures are arranged in multiple rows on the underside of the package.

  • Publication number: 20100057170
Abstract: The inventive blanket is an inflatable underbody convective thermal blanket whereon the head and the upper body of a patient may lie. The blanket is in the shape of a cross with a truncated lower vertical portion and an upper head portion onto which the head of the patient lies. The blanket has two horizontal arm portions that extend from the main body portion of the blanket and onto which the arms of the patient may be positioned. At each of the arm portions there is a flap that may be used to cover the arm of the patient. An inlet port is provided in an upper corner at the head portion of the blanket. The heated air input to the blanket is directed by a plurality of sealed strips to flow in respective desired directions around the arm portions and the lower truncated body portion of the blanket. Sets of apertures are provided along an inner sealed periphery that defines a T-shaped uninflated area onto which the torso of the patient lies.

  • Publication number: 20100015173
Abstract: The invention relates to lipopeptide building blocks consisting of a peptide chain comprising a coiled-coil domain, linked covalently to a lipid moiety comprising long alkyl or alkenyl chains, and optionally linked to an antigen; and to helical lipopeptide bundles and synthetic virus-like particles formed by aggregation. The nanometer size and shape of these bundles and particles, their stability under aqueous physiological conditions, their chemical composition, the possibility to incorporate B- and T-cell epitopes, and their production by chemical synthesis, make them highly suitable as vaccine delivery vehicles.

  • Patent number: 7647467
Abstract: On the fly tuning of parameters used in an interface between a memory (e.g. high speed memory such as DRAM) and a processor requesting access to the memory. In an operational mode, a memory controller couples the processor to the memory. The memory controller can also inhibit the operational mode to initiate a training mode. In the training mode, the memory controller tunes one or more parameters (voltage references, timing skews, etc.) used in an upcoming operational mode. The access to the memory may be from an isochronous process running on a graphics processor. The memory controller determines whether the isochronous process may be inhibited before entering the training mode. If memory buffers for the isochronous process are such that the training mode will not impact the isochronous process, then the memory controller can enter the training mode to tune the interface parameters without negatively impacting the process.

  • Publication number: 20090324707
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for synthesizing conformationally constrained peptides and cyclic peptidomimetics obtainable by these methods which are conformationally constrained due an internal cross-link. This cross-link is formed between the side chain of an amino acid residue or analog and a (2S, 4S)4-functionalized proline residue. The invention further relates to the use of (2S, 4S)-4-functionalized proline residues as building units in the synthesis of such peptidomimetics and to the use thereof as antigens, alone or in combination with suitable immunopotentiating delivery systems, for example immunopotentiating reconstituted influenza virosomes to elicit an immune response in a mammal. Moreover, the invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing the same.

  • Patent number: 7537732
Abstract: Paper pulp is added to a stain solution. The stain solution and pulp fibers are mixed to form a slurry. Samples are removed from the slurry and are admixed with dilution water and a bleach. Then, the fibers are moved into a flow cell where they are subjected to a light source adapted to stimulate fluorescence from the stained pulp fiber. Before the fiber slurry enters the flow cell it is mixed with a dilution water of bleach to reduce background fluorescence. The fluorescent light is collimated and directed through a dichroic filter onto a fluorescence splitting dichroic filter.

  • Publication number: 20080286885
Abstract: Various methods and systems for creating or performing a dynamic sampling scheme for a process during which measurements are performed on wafers are provided. One method for creating a dynamic sampling scheme for a process during which measurements are performed on wafers includes performing the measurements on all of the wafers in at least one lot at all measurement spots on the wafers. The method also includes determining an optimal sampling scheme, an enhanced sampling scheme, a reduced sampling scheme, and thresholds for the dynamic sampling scheme for the process based on results of the measurements. The thresholds correspond to values of the measurements at which the optimal sampling scheme, the enhanced sampling scheme, and the reduced sampling scheme are to be used for the process.

  • Publication number: 20080272159
Abstract: Garment supporting devices and garment hangers are disclosed. One garment supporting device for attaching to a garment hanger comprises a shoulder receiving section operable to conform to a shoulder region of a garment when hung on the garment hanger. By being attachable to a conventional garment hanger, the garment supporting device effectively alters the dimensions of the hanger to accommodate the dimensions of the garment to be supported, especially its shoulder regions. Adapting the shoulder receiving section to conform to the shoulder region of a garment enables the same device to be applied to a conventional hanger in order to support garments having a range of differing sizes. Conforming to the shoulder region increases support in this region and reduces the likelihood of creating deformations therein.
