  • Patent number: 9467523
Abstract: A grid communication system provides distributed processing of business workflows. Each node has a core with a small footprint which provides control of business process and data flow and synchronization. The node controller communicates with applications and with other nodes through the use of messages. Messages are processed by the node controller according to a set of rules. The rules reside in a versioned repository. The rules may be set or modified through the use of messages from other nodes, allowing for enterprise control of individual nodes. The node controller includes a plurality of adapters for converting data and/or messages to and from formats for different applications.

  • Publication number: 20160206965
Abstract: A posable toy figure having a body, a head, and limbs that are held together by at least one elastic cord. The limbs are comprised of multiple limb pieces that are also held together by the elastic cords. Each limb has multiple flat contact surfaces. Each limb is biased against the body at an abutment joint. Each limb is selectively moveable about the abutment joint into one of a few stable orientations relative the body. In each of the different stable orientations, a different one of the flat contact surfaces of a limb abuts against the body. Limb pieces create secondary abutment joints that enable the limbs to be configured into different stable poses. This provides the toy figure with a large, yet limited, number of posable configurations. The various posable configurations are readily indexed and can be easily repeated.

  • Publication number: 20160043700
Abstract: A wireless communications transmitter is divided into N binary weighted communication signal processing paths including both fixed and variable gain communication signal processing chains. Specific bit sequences are used to select a combination of fixed and variable gain signal processing paths to adjust to a desired transmitter output power. Alternately, high and low power communication signal processing paths are chosen as needed with the high power communication signal processing path including an odd order harmonic notch filter.

  • Patent number: 9197381
Abstract: Various configurations and arrangements of systems and methods for providing multi-carrier aggregation are described. A system in accordance with the disclosure can include a first mixer configured to receive a first signal in a first frequency band, a second mixer configured to receive a second signal in a second frequency band, a third mixer configured to receive the second signal in the second frequency band, and a fourth mixer configured to receive a third signal in a third frequency band. The system can further include a controller configured to selectively activate one of the first mixer and the second mixer, and selectively activate one of the third mixer and the fourth mixer.

  • Patent number: 9046562
Abstract: Presented is a sensor that includes a magnetoresistive (MR) sensing device to sense a magnetic field and to produce an AC signal voltage proportional to the sensed magnetic field. The sensor also includes circuitry, coupled to the MR sensing device, to remove DC offset from the AC signal voltage. The DC offset may be related to the hysteresis characteristics of the MR sensing device. To remove DC offset, the circuitry may obtain an averaged DC offset and subtract the averaged DC offset from the AC signal voltage to produce a sensor output signal.

  • Patent number: 8561220
Abstract: A device (20) for improving drainline clearance for use with an ultra low flushing volume toilet (24). The device (20) includes a centrifuge separator means (30), for separating liquids (L) and solids (S), and a reservoir (42). The separator means (30) has a substantially horizontal inlet (32), adapted for connection to the outlet (26) of a toilet pan (24), an outlet (36) primarily for solids (S) and an outlet (38) primarily for liquids (L). The reservoir (42) is beneath the separator means (30) and has an inlet (38) in fluid communication with the liquids outlet (38) of the separator means (30). The reservoir (42) is adapted to syphonically empty substantially all of its contents into a sewerage drainline (22) after at least 2 flushes of the toilet (24). Further, the separator means (30) and the reservoir (42) have a combined vertical dimension less than the maximum height of the toilet pan outlet for installation adjacent the toilet (24) and substantially above the floor level (F) of the toilet (24).
