  • Publication number: 20240147219
Abstract: This application describes provisioning a secondary electronic subscriber identity module (eSIM) to a wireless device to access a cellular wireless network of a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) to supplement and offload from a cellular wireless network of a mobile network operator (MNO) that provides cellular wireless services to users of the MVNO. Provisioning of the secondary eSIM can be triggered after i) boot up of the wireless device or ii) insertion of a primary SIM/eSIM that provides MVNO cellular service access via the MNO cellular wireless network. Provisioning can be anchored by an MVNO entitlement server or by a manufacturer device services server. Provisioning can also be triggered by the MNO cellular wireless network after attachment of the wireless device. Authentication and authorization of the wireless device to obtain the secondary eSIM can be based on the primary SIM/eSIM or on secure communication with the manufacturer device services server.

  • Publication number: 20240147867
Abstract: Magnetoelectric magnetic tunnel junction (MEMTJ) logic devices comprise a magnetoelectric switching capacitor coupled to a pair of magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) by a conductive layer. The logic state of the MEMTJ is represented by the magnetization orientation of the ferromagnetic layer of the magnetoelectric capacitor, which can be switched through the application of an appropriate input voltage to the MEMTJ. The magnetization orientation of the magnetoelectric capacitor ferromagnetic layer is read out by the MTJs. The conductive layer is positioned between the capacitor and the MTJs. The MTJ ferromagnetic free layers are exchange coupled to the ferromagnetic layer of the magnetoelectric capacitor. The potential of an MTJ free layer is based on a supply voltage applied to the reference layer of the MTJ. The MTJ reference layers have a magnetization orientation that is parallel or antiparallel to the magnetization orientations of the ferromagnetic layer of the magnetoelectric capacitor.

  • Patent number: 11966879
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to the sharing of synchronization information corresponding to content among devices in a communication network. An originating device collects synchronization information related to the presentation of content to a user via the originating device. The synchronization information is defined according to reference points related to the presentation of the content to the user via the originating device, including a current state of the presentation of the content and/or additional information obtained during the presentation of the content. Based on detection of a synchronization event, the originating device transmits the collected synchronization information, resulting in the receipt of the synchronization information by one or more receiving devices. Thereafter, the presentation of the content to the user on one of the receiving devices can incorporate the synchronization information collected and transmitted by the originating device.

  • Patent number: 11958006
Abstract: Virus and microbe-killing, self-sterilizing resistive heated air filters and methods of making and using same methods. The air filter is includes laser-induced graphene (LIG), a porous conductive graphene foam formed through photothermal conversion of a polyimide film (or another source or source of polymer or other LIG precursor material) by a laser source. The LIG in the air filter can capture particulates and bacteria. The bacteria cannot proliferate even when submerged in culture medium. Through a periodic Joule-heating mechanism, the filter easily reaches greater than 300° C. This destroys any microorganisms including bacteria, along with molecules that can cause adverse biological reactions and diseases such as viruses, pyrogens, allergens, exotoxins, endotoxins, teichoic acids, mycotoxins, nucleic acids, and prions.

  • Publication number: 20240119138
Abstract: The disclosure herein describes deploying a Virtual Secure Enclave (VSE) using a universal enclave binary and a Trusted Runtime (TR). A universal enclave binary is generated that includes a set of binaries of Instruction Set Architectures (ISAs) associated with Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) hardware backends. A TEE hardware backend is identified in association with a VSE-compatible device. A VSE that is compatible with the identified TEE hardware backend is generated on the VSE-compatible device and an ISA binary that matches the TEE hardware backend is selected from the universal enclave binary. The selected binary is linked to a runtime library of the TR and loads the linked binary into memory of the generated VSE. The execution of a trusted application is initiated in the generated VSE using a set of interfaces of the TR. The trusted application depends on the TR interfaces rather than the selected ISA binary.
