  • Publication number: 20180358180
Abstract: Fabricating a capacitor includes obtaining a sheet of material having a first phase of an anode metal oxide on an anode metal. The anode metal oxide is an oxide of the anode metal. A portion of the first phase of the anode metal oxide is converted to a second phase of the anode metal oxide. At least a portion of the second phase of the anode metal oxide is removed from the sheet of material. In some instances, the first phase of the anode metal is converted to the second phase of the anode metal oxide as a result of the process used to extract a capacitor anode from the sheet of material.

  • Publication number: 20180354069
Abstract: Fabricating a capacitor includes performing an oxide formation operation on a sheet of material. The oxide formation operation forms an anode metal oxide on an anode metal. A thermal compression is performed on the sheet of material after the oxide formation operation is performed. The thermal compression applies thermal energy to the sheet of material while applying pressure to the sheet of material. After the thermal compression, the capacitor is assembled such that at least one electrode in the capacitor includes at least a portion of the sheet of material.

Abstract: A glass laminate includes at least one chemically-strengthened glass sheets with a thickness not exceeding 2.0 mm and a polymer interlayer between the glass sheets. Flaws are created in the surface of one of the glass sheets in order to weaken the glass laminate upon an impact event on a first side of the laminate, while retaining the strength of the laminate upon impact on the opposing second side of the laminate. The opposing side of the glass sheet with the flaws or a surface of the other glass sheet may be strengthened with an acid etch treatment in order to further strengthen the laminate upon impact on the opposing second side of the laminate.

  • Publication number: 20180032583
Abstract: Techniques for responding to content requests that originate from remote computing devices are provided. In one technique, a content request that includes a viewer identifier of a user that requested web content and a contextual entity identifier of an entity that is referenced in the web content is received. In response to receiving the content request, based on the viewer identifier, first profile data about a viewer associated with the viewer identifier is retrieved. Also, based on the contextual entity identifier, second profile data about the entity is retrieved. Based on the first profile data and the second profile data, a content delivery campaign is identified. Particular content to deliver is determined based on the content delivery campaign. The particular content is sent to a computing device that initiated the content request.
