  • Publication number: 20210047492
Abstract: A method for recycling powdered paint waste is provided in which, the powdered paint waste is being treated with the aid of a reactant in such a way that its adhesion to surfaces and especially to metal surfaces is reduced or eliminated. The treatment of the powdered paint waste allows the powdered paint waste to be additionally processed under the influence of heat and to use it as a starting material in various recycling processes or in other processes.

  • Publication number: 20200390518
Abstract: An automated dental drill includes a dental drill housing that includes a mouthpiece housing section and a one or more degrees of freedom drive housing section; an end effector drive support having a shaft section that is at least partially positioned in the mouthpiece housing section, and an end effector for the cutting of a native tooth or dental appliance to a desired tolerance. The end effector is positioned on the end effector drive support. The automated dental drill also includes a power source that drives the end effector and is coupled to the end effector and a one or more degrees of freedom drive assembly to direct the end effector along one or more degrees of freedom relative to the mouthpiece housing section.

  • Publication number: 20200315754
Abstract: A system for performing dental surgery on a subject includes a central processing unit that controls automated operation of the system and a display that renders an image of a target tooth requiring surgical intervention. The image of a target tooth is created from an image file received from the CPU. An input device receives surgical instructions from a user for providing the surgical intervention with the instructions being subsequently received by the central processing unit. The instructions include visual indications on the image of a target tooth that are to be treated. The system also includes a segmented dental handpiece that has a first segment attached to a second segment. The second segment is attached to a dental drill head and is movable with respect to the first segment under control of the CPU. The first segment can be held stationary relative to the target tooth by an operator.

  • Publication number: 20200046624
Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment there is presented a formulation that is topically applied to the outer jawline and neck skin to improve the appearance of the skin by repairing or concealing age-related skin effects, such as wrinkles, improving skin tone by reducing stretching and sagging of the skin, adding moisture to reduce skin dryness, and adding an appearance of brightness. An exemplary embodiment of the formulation includes a blend of oligosaccharides, medium chain triglycerides, peptides, silanol, and diglucosyl gallic acid, all provided in a viscous liquid emulsion base for ease of dispensing from a pump dispenser.

  • Patent number: 10447661
Abstract: A method includes accessing genomic data of from a genomic database; generating, by a processor, a first hash by probabilistically and irreversibly encrypting a first portion of the genomic data encoding the first genomic sequence, the first hash projecting the first portion into reduced dimensions such that the first portion of the genomic data encoding the first genomic sequence becomes statistically improbable to recover outside the first processor; generating, by the processor, a first cryptogram by deterministically and reversibly encrypting a second portion of the genomic data encoding the first genomic sequence; generating, by the processor, a look-up table by using at least the first cryptogram as a key and the first portion of the genomic data encoding the first genomic sequence as the value, and transmitting data encoding the first hash and the first cryptogram to one or more processors that are different from the first processor.

  • Publication number: 20190290791
Abstract: Methods and systems for a catheter access port cleaning, disinfection or sterilization device are disclosed. The catheter access port cleaning, disinfection or sterilization device may comprise, a first housing having a power source and control circuit; a second housing shaped to mate with a catheter and having a first ultra-violet light source mounted therein, the first housing wired to the second housing to power the light source. When activated, the ultra-violet light source emits ultra-violet radiation that is transmitted from the second housing to the catheter attached to a patient. In this way, the device provides an efficient system for cleaning, disinfecting or sterilizing an access port in the second housing while reducing patient infections.

  • Patent number: 9866598
Abstract: The present disclosure includes methods and systems to assess an ability to playback media content. The system progresses through media content playback applications by communicating a query to a computer system over a computer network. The progressing is used to assess an ability of the computer system to playback media content locally. Next, the system, receives a response to the query. The response indicates an ability of the computer system to playback the media content locally.

  • Patent number: 9571531
Abstract: The present disclosure includes a method to provide rich media content over a computer network. The system determines a user's ability to playback said rich media content locally. Next, the system provides the user with a version of said rich media content appropriate for said user's ability to playback said rich media content locally. Next, the system loads said rich media content into a local cache of the user. Finally, the system displays said rich media content from the user's local cache after said rich media content has been completely loaded.

  • Publication number: 20160180223
Abstract: Human decision-making is enhanced by defining decision criteria, then presenting data responsive to the criteria in a manner that is optimized based on the neuroscience of human information processing. For example, data is displayed in a uniform format along with a list of criteria; data responsive to a selected criterion is highlighted as hot data; and a scoring window is displayed for a user to score the conformance of the hot data to the selected criterion.
