  • Patent number: 12323303
Abstract: In examples, a first Anycast advertisement is received from a first server identifying the first server as a primary address for a service. In addition, a second Anycast advertisement is received from the first server identifying the first server as a secondary address for the service. Further, a third Anycast advertisement is received from a second server identifying the second server as the secondary address for the service. A first community advertisement is also from the first server identifying the first server as a member of a first community. Thereafter, a first request is received from a client including the primary address, and the request is routed to the first server. When a second request from the client is received including the secondary address, based at least on the community advertisement, the first server is ignored, and the second request is routed to the second server.

  • Patent number: 12321455
Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for malicious software detection based on API trust. In an example, a set of software instructions executed by a computing device may call an API. A hook may be generated on the API, such that a threat processor may receive an indication when the API is called. Accordingly, the threat processor may generate a trust metric based on the execution of the set of software instructions, which may be used to determine whether the set of software instructions poses a potential threat. For example, one or more call stack frames may be evaluated to determine whether a return address is preceded by a call instruction, whether the return address is associated with a set of software instructions or memory associated with a set of software instructions, and/or whether the set of software instructions satisfies a variety of security criteria.

  • Patent number: 12321207
Abstract: A drive carrier comprises a front portion, a first lateral rail extending from the front portion, and a second lateral rail extending from the front portion. The front portion and first and second lateral rails form a frame configured to receive a media drive between the first and second lateral rails. The first lateral rail is formed from plastic and comprises a screw hole. When the media drive is received in the frame, the media drive is coupled to the first lateral rail by a screw inserted through the screw hole. The drive carrier also has a metal screw plate in-molded into the plastic of the first lateral rail surrounding the screw hole. The screw plate strengthens the first lateral rail around the rim of the screw hole to prevent the head of the screw from cracking the plastic and/or tearing through the plastic.

  • Publication number: 20250174061
Abstract: A security token for accessing an automotive vehicle, such as an NFC access card or NFC-capable mobile phone, is monitored to help prevent it being left in the vehicle when the user exits the vehicle. An NFC reader in the passenger compartment communicates with the token to authorize access to predetermined functions of the vehicle. An image sensor captures images within the passenger compartment using an image sensor after the security token is presented to the NFC reader. A location of the token is tracked in the captured images. One or more predetermined carrier locations are identified which are associated with the user and which can remain with the user when the user exits the vehicle (e.g., a pocket or purse). A message to the user is generated as a reminder when the security token has not been detected to have been returned to an identified predetermined carrier location.

  • Publication number: 20250169810
Abstract: Devices, methods, and systems provide a surgical access device comprising an internal retractor device integrated with or coupled to a body wall or wound retractor. The wound retractor retracts an opening in a body wall into a body cavity, while the internal retractor permits a user to control the positions of internal structures within the body cavity, thereby permitting a user to define a surgical field. Embodiments of the internal retractor are adjustable.

  • Publication number: 20250171365
Abstract: Pre-ceramic particle solutions can prepared by a Coordinated-PDC process, a Direct-PDC process or a Coordinated-Direct-PDC process. The pre-ceramic particle solution includes a polymer selected from the group consisting of (i) an organic polymer including a metal or metalloid cation, (ii) a first organometallic polymer and (iii) a second organometallic polymer including a metal or metalloid cation different from a metal in the second organometallic polymer, a plurality of particles selected from the group consisting of (a) a ceramic fuel particle and (b) a moderator particle, a dispersant, and a polymerization initiator. The pre-ceramic particle solution can be supplied to an additive manufacturing process, such as digital light projection, and made into a structure (which is pre-ceramic particle green body) that can then be debinded to form a polymer-derived ceramic sintered body. In some embodiments, the polymer-derived ceramic sintered body is a component or structure for fission reactors.

  • Patent number: 12314143
Abstract: In a distributed replicated storage system, an active server may, during normal operation, service requests from clients, and back up its persistent storage to a backup server. The backup server may be configured to become an active server autonomously if the active server fails. If a network connection between the active server and the backup server fails, severing the connection between the active server and the backup server, the backup server may become a second active server and begin to service requests from clients, and the original active server may continue to service requests from clients. This may result in inconsistencies in the persistent storage of the original active server and of the second active server. As such, a system and method for intelligent merging of primary and backup data in a distributed replicated storage system are provided.

  • Patent number: 12314405
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for identifying highly sensitive modules and taking a remediation or preventative action if such modules are accessed by malicious software. For example, the likelihood that a module is used for an exploit, and is thus sensitive, is categorized as high, medium, or low. The likelihood that a module can be used for an exploit can dictate whether, and to what degree, an application accessing the module is “suspicious.” However, in some instances, a sensitive module may have legitimate reasons to load when used in certain non-malicious ways. The system may also consider a trust level when determining what actions to take, such that an application and/or user having a higher trust level may be less suspicious when accessing a sensitive module as compared to an application or user having a lower trust level.

  • Patent number: 12314702
Abstract: A method for delivering notifications of software deprecations on an external unmanaged cloud environment is provided. The method may be implemented by at least one processor. The method may include gathering data from data sources hosted on an external unmanaged cloud environment but not serviced by the external unmanaged cloud environment; creating a data feed by aggregating the data gathered based on a predetermined criteria; streaming, via a network, the data feed to an internal managed cloud environment; storing the data feed in a data store on the internal managed cloud environment; joining the data feed with internal application data for at least one internal application on the internal managed cloud environment; and creating, based on the joined data, a backlog for delivering the notifications.

  • Patent number: 12316405
Abstract: A communication device, method, and computer program product provide power efficient transmit diversity using two transmit chains to meet a transmit power level for an uplink signal when one transmit chain is insufficient. In response to determining that the first transmit power level is equal to or less than the transmit power capability of at least one of a first transmit chain and a second transmit chain, the communication device configures a corresponding one of the first transmit chain and the second transmit chain to transmit the uplink channel with at least the first transmit power level.
