Abstract: A work machine and method for grading a ground surface may include a frame, a ground-engaging attachment, an attachment coupler coupling the ground-engaging attachment to the frame, an actuator enabling movement of the ground-engaging attachment, an adjustable linkage to adjust a position of the ground-engaging attachment relative to the frame, an adjustable linkage, a sensor, and a controller. The adjustable linkage adjusts a position of the ground-engaging attachment relative to the frame. The adjustable linkage comprises of a first portion and a second portion, an enclosure encircling the second portion wherein the enclosure creates an annular chamber between the enclosure and the second portion. A sensor is coupled to the annular chamber and measures a pressure in the chamber. • Publication number: 20230095082
Abstract: This disclosure describes example techniques and systems for identifying the presence and/or composition of nucleic acids in the blood of a host organism of a model species harboring tissue of a donor organism of another species. For example, the technique may involve identifying the presence and composition of nucleic acids in the blood of a mouse harboring tissue of a human or another companion animal. These cell-free nucleic acids that are identified can be used as biomarkers to determine the presence of a disease, its biological behavior, its rate of progression, and/or the response of the disease to one or more unique therapies. In other examples, the cell-free nucleic acids may be used as biomarkers to determine a response of the host species to the tissue of the donor organism or a response of tissue derived from the second organism to transplantation within the first organism of the first species.

  • Patent number: 11613277
Abstract: Neighborhood monitoring is performed by configuring a cluster server within a public network to maintain a cluster directory identifying cluster members including a neighborhood of smart listening devices and user vehicles. The neighborhood includes a cluster of dwellings, and the user vehicles includes an autonomous vehicle. The surroundings of the smart listening devices and the user vehicles are monitored using sensors in the smart listening devices and the user vehicles. When an alerting event is detected with one of the sensors, a corresponding one of the smart listening devices and the user vehicles that detected the alerting event initiates a message to another cluster member based on the cluster directory. A responsive action is executed in response to the detected alerting event which includes commanding the at least one autonomous vehicle to autonomously relocate to a designated location.
