  • Patent number: 11550926
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for identifying highly sensitive modules and taking a remediation or preventative action if such modules are accessed by malicious software. For example, the likelihood that a module is used for an exploit, and is thus sensitive, is categorized as high, medium, or low. The likelihood that a module can be used for an exploit can dictate whether, and to what degree, an application accessing the module is “suspicious.” However, in some instances, a sensitive module may have legitimate reasons to load when used in certain non-malicious ways. The system may also consider a trust level when determining what actions to take, such that an application and/or user having a higher trust level may be less suspicious when accessing a sensitive module as compared to an application or user having a lower trust level.

  • Publication number: 20230003823
Abstract: Determining alignment and clear line-of-sight (LOS) of a satellite antenna using sensor data from an LOS sensor of the satellite antenna. Described techniques include storing first sensor data captured by the LOS sensor at a first time, the first sensor data indicating a first LOS condition of the satellite antenna corresponding to the satellite antenna having a beam LOS with a satellite of the satellite communication system that is aligned and unobstructed. The techniques may include receiving second sensor data captured by the LOS sensor at a second time after the first time, the second sensor data indicating a second LOS condition of the satellite antenna. The techniques may include determining an LOS condition change for the satellite antenna between the first time and the second time based on a comparison of the second sensor data with the first sensor data.

  • Patent number: 11546137
Abstract: Aspects of the invention include receiving a request from an initiator channel on an initiator node to initiate a secure communication with a responder channel on a responder node. The receiving is at a local key manager (LKM) executing on the initiator node. A security association is created at the LKM between the initiator node and the responder node. An identifier of a shared key assigned for communication between the initiator node and the responder node is obtained, and a message requesting initialization of the secure communication between the initiator channel and the responder channel is built. The message includes the identifier of the shared key. The message is sent to the initiator channel.

  • Patent number: 11544379
Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for malicious software detection based on API trust. In an example, a set of software instructions executed by a computing device may call an API. A hook may be generated on the API, such that a threat processor may receive an indication when the API is called. Accordingly, the threat processor may generate a trust metric based on the execution of the set of software instructions, which may be used to determine whether the set of software instructions poses a potential threat. For example, one or more call stack frames may be evaluated to determine whether a return address is preceded by a call instruction, whether the return address is associated with a set of software instructions or memory associated with a set of software instructions, and/or whether the set of software instructions satisfies a variety of security criteria.

  • Patent number: 11544806
Abstract: In one embodiment, a processing device receives a first digital fingerprint of a media item along with a first content management rule. The processing device separately receives a second digital fingerprint of the media item along with a second content management rule. The processing device determines that the received digital fingerprints are for the same media item based upon a match between the first digital fingerprint and the second digital fingerprint. The processing device determines that all rights to the media item have been accounted for, and then determines a set of actions to be performed for hosted media items comprising the media item based at least in part upon the first content management rule and the second content management rule. Processing logic may also perform a conflict resolution process for conflicting rights claims to the media item.

  • Patent number: 11541205
Abstract: A coated urinary catheter or urinary stent device includes a urinary catheter or stent which, in a deployed position, includes or defines a protective surface area and a protected surface area and a coating upon at least a portion of the protective surface area. The coating includes a lubricant and an antimicrobial and/or pH buffering material. The device is configured such that, upon application of negative pressure to the catheter or stent, tissue of a urinary tract of a patient conforms or collapses onto the protective surface area and is thereby prevented or inhibited from occluding one or more protected drainage holes, ports or perforations of the catheter or stent.

  • Patent number: 11541214
Abstract: A balloon dilation catheter includes a substantially rigid inner guide member and a movable shaft coupled to a balloon that is slidably mounted on the substantially rigid inner guide member. To treat a sinus cavity of a subject using the balloon dilation the substantially rigid inner guide member is advanced into a drainage pathway of the sinus (e.g., frontal recess) of the subject via a nasal passageway. The shaft and balloon are advanced in a distal direction over the substantially rigid inner guide member to place the balloon in the drainage pathway. The balloon is inflated to expand or otherwise remodel the drainage pathway.

  • Patent number: 11541651
Abstract: In one aspect, the present disclosure relates to the decorating and printing of three-dimensional edible media on a printable base media based on a user selected image. A base can be determined to support and couple the printed 3D edible media based on the user selected image to the printable base media. Using a user interface, the user selected image can be modified and adapted to print based on a 3D printer's capabilities. Maneuvers of either a platform or a printhead of the 3D printer can be tracked for secondary treatments to either the printed 3D edible media or the printable base media.

  • Publication number: 20220410895
Abstract: Electrified vehicles are coupled together by a towing device for in-flight energy transfer. A remote-controlled parking system collects images from vehicle-mounted cameras to produce a 360° overhead live streaming image that is displayed on a smartphone linked to a vehicle controller. A user interface (UI) on the smartphone accepts a first touch from the user on the streaming image showing the vehicles at a starting position in order to specify a maneuver endpoint. The controller calculates a sequence of steering actions to create a path to the endpoint. The UI displays the calculate path as an overlay on the live image. The UI generates an activation signal in response to a second touch input on the touchscreen, and forwards the activation signal to the vehicle controller during the second touch input to move the vehicles according to the actuator commands only while the user maintains the second touch input.

  • Publication number: 20220417147
Abstract: Dynamic and self-healing optimized traffic rerouting is provided. A system and method are described for determining and implementing optimized traffic routing decision. A route orchestration system monitors network resource performance characteristics information for identifying a traffic redirection triggering event and for determining an optimized traffic control decision based on the network resource performance characteristics information. The decision may include software defined networking (SDN) instructions that may be communicated to one or more network resources (e.g., PE devices, P devices, and/or routers) that may cause traffic to be rerouted the one or more targeted servers. For example, the optimized traffic control decision may be determined to improve load balancing amongst performing servers and other network resources in the network while reducing or minimizing administrative costs.

  • Publication number: 20220410872
Abstract: Leading and trailing electrified vehicles are coupled together in a towing arrangement for in-flight transfer of an electrical charge between their battery systems. With the vehicles connected by a towing device, a parking maneuver is initiated in which the trailing vehicle leads the leading vehicle. For the parking maneuver, one of the vehicles is designated (e.g., automatically or by driver agreement) to be an active steering vehicle and the other vehicle to be a passive steering vehicle. At least the passive steering vehicle comprises an electrically-controlled steering actuator. During movement, a turning (e.g., steering angle) of the active steering vehicle is monitored. Based on the turning of the active steering vehicle, an assistive steering angle is determined for the passive steering vehicle. The electrically-controlled steering actuator is commanded according to the assistive steering angle. The parking maneuver may be reverse or forward.
