  • Publication number: 20240147019
Abstract: A server may receive metadata associated with specific content in a transport signal stream from a content information service. The metadata may identify a point in time of the transport signal stream. The server may instruct an encoder to insert a marker into the transport signal stream corresponding to the point in time of the transport signal stream. The marker may indicate control of a trick mode to be enforced by a delivery platform subsequent to the point in time of the transport signal stream. The server may record the marker in a data store associated with the server.

  • Publication number: 20240122398
Abstract: A beverage system includes a vessel having a chamber for retaining a volume of diluent such as water, and at least one assembly for expressing aliquots of flavor concentrate from a flavor concentrate cartridge into the diluent. Flavor concentrate is expressed from the cartridge by actuating a sliding pawl that moves a ratchet bar to depress a plunger on the cartridge. Cartridges of flavor concentrate are inserted into the beverage system and spent cartridges are removed upon depletion. In this manner a user can customize the volume and ratio of flavor and additives in their beverage.

  • Patent number: 11956588
Abstract: An electronic device may include one or more terminals configured to provide a voltage signal to an actuator. The electronic device may detect a current associated with the voltage signal provided by the terminal to the actuator. The electronic device may determine an impedance across associated with the actuator based on the voltage signal and the electrical current. The electronic device may compare the impedance to a threshold impedance to determine whether there is sufficient skin contact with the actuator. The electronic device may provide audio via cartilage conduction if there is sufficient contact based on comparing the impedance to the threshold impedance, or may output a notification to the user to adjust placement of the electronic device to improve contact.

  • Publication number: 20240044474
Abstract: A novel lighting device is provided which projects two simultaneous yet distinct lighting effects to its surrounding areas from a central mounted and covered light source, firstly illuminating a proximate surface directly by the light source and by reflection of a cover, and secondly light is remotely provided by optically conductive materials which transmit and project light, such that the central light source projects onto proximate surface areas directly and by reflection, and light projects remotely and outwardly, carried from said source by light transmission utilizing optically conductive materials.

  • Patent number: 11893005
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software can be used for anomaly detection. In some aspect, a number of training events are obtained. A data structure represented by a decision tree is generated based on the number of training events. A to-be-scored event is obtained and a traversed path is determined for the to-be-scored event. An anomaly score is computed based on the traversed path and the to-be-scored event is determined to be an anomalous or normal event based on the anomaly score.
