  • Patent number: 11770474
Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure receive a call from a caller, generate a first session through a first channel associated with the caller when the call is received and then send a request for authentication credentials to a device associated with the caller. In some embodiments, sending the request for authentication credentials generates a second session through a second channel associated with the caller. The caller can be authenticated to the first session using communication received during the second session through the second channel.

  • Publication number: 20230250879
Abstract: A top-loaded rotary valve with elliptical sealing is provided. The valve includes a valve cartridge with a lower cylinder portion having a first flow opening, an upper cylinder portion having a second flow opening, a rotor, and a gasket positioned between respective ends of the lower cylinder portion and the upper cylinder portion. The rotor includes a stem and a disc configured to rotate within the cartridge. The lower cylinder portion and the upper cylinder portion are mated to the gasket along a plane that defines an ellipse along the respective cylinder ends. The disc has perimeter that is similar to the ellipse, and the rotor rotates between a closed position in which the elliptical perimeter of the disc is coincident with the gasket to prevent flow between the flow openings and an open position that permits flow between the flow openings.

  • Patent number: 11678103
Abstract: Embodiments relate to an audio system configured to provide enhancement of low audio frequencies. The audio system includes a tissue transducer and a speaker coupled to the tissue transducer. The tissue transducer is configured to be coupled to a tissue of a user (e.g., pinna of a user's ear). The speaker includes a diaphragm having a first surface and a second surface that is opposite the first surface. The first surface is configured to generate a first set of airborne acoustic pressure waves, and the second surface is configured to generate a backpressure. The tissue transducer is driven by the backpressure to vibrate the tissue to form a second set of acoustic pressure waves. The first set of airborne acoustic pressure waves and the second set of acoustic pressure waves together form audio content that is presented to the user.

  • Publication number: 20230156396
Abstract: An electronic device may include one or more terminals configured to provide a voltage signal to an actuator. The electronic device may detect a current associated with the voltage signal provided by the terminal to the actuator. The electronic device may determine an impedance across associated with the actuator based on the voltage signal and the electrical current. The electronic device may compare the impedance to a threshold impedance to determine whether there is sufficient skin contact with the actuator. The electronic device may provide audio via cartilage conduction if there is sufficient contact based on comparing the impedance to the threshold impedance, or may output a notification to the user to adjust placement of the electronic device to improve contact.

  • Publication number: 20230100887
Abstract: A server may receive metadata associated with specific content in a transport signal stream from a content information service. The metadata may identify a point in time of the transport signal stream. The server may instruct an encoder to insert a marker into the transport signal stream corresponding to the point in time of the transport signal stream. The marker may indicate control of a trick mode to be enforced by a delivery platform subsequent to the point in time of the transport signal stream. The server may record the marker in a data store associated with the server.
