  • Patent number: 10977209
Abstract: In certain instances, a data management application (software application) that manages moving data files, and the like, from a primary high-speed storage system. An end-user can configure the data management application for particular files via management policies. Based on the management policies, after a file is migrated from the primary storage system to a targeted secondary storage system, a breadcrumb pointing to a webpage for the migrated file is left behind in the primary storage system. • Publication number: 20210045110
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for communicating transport block repetitions are disclosed. An example method performed by a wireless device includes receiving an assignment of radio resources corresponding to two or more transmissions with first start and length pairs, each transmission comprising a transport block repetition, where at least one of the first start and length pairs violates a time-domain allocation restriction. The wireless device determines second start and length pairs for the two or more transmissions such that the time-domain allocation restriction is not violated. The wireless device transmits the two or more transmissions according to the determined second start and length pairs.

  • Publication number: 20210037388
Abstract: A wireless device (and method of) and a network node (and method of) are described herein for improving security for positioning without ciphering. In one embodiment, the wireless device is configured to: receive, from a network node, a paging request for a positioning event and a subsequent RRLP PDU; and perform, in response, an MTA procedure comprising a plurality of instances. When performing each instance, the wireless device transmits, to the network node, a RLC data block comprising at least a first field indicating a position of the instance in a sequence of the plurality of instances, and a second field indicating whether the instance is a last instance in the sequence of the plurality of instances. The network node upon receiving the RLC data block will be able to confirm whether the MTA procedure has been compromised by a fake wireless device.

  • Publication number: 20210014003
Abstract: Embodiments include methods for a user equipment (UE) to transmit control information in association with a plurality of data packet repetitions. Such methods include selecting, from a plurality of configured starting transmit positions, a starting transmit position for an initial repetition of the plurality. Such methods include selecting a sequence of cyclic shift (CS) values from a plurality of configured CS values. The plurality of configured CS values are less than the plurality of repetitions and/or the plurality of configured starting transmit positions. The sequence is selected based on the plurality of repetitions, and on an identifier associated with the data packet and/or the selected starting transmit position.

  • Patent number: 10883458
Abstract: A valve assembly for a fluid pump includes a valve body; a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet defined in the valve body; a valve seat; and an inlet disk disposed in the valve body having an inner portion, an outer portion fixed within the valve body, and a plurality of legs connected between the inner portion and the outer portion so that the inner portion is movable between a first position against the valve seat and a second position spaced apart from the valve seat. The connection between the legs, the inner portion and the outer portion provides a spring bias force to the inner portion against movement of the inner portion from the first position. The plurality of legs, the inner portion and the outer portion are configured such that the spring bias force is asymmetric as applied to the inner portion of the inlet disk.

  • Publication number: 20200400046
Abstract: A hydraulic valve having a body defining an inlet and an outlet. A motor is supported by the body and operates a shaft extending through an interior of the body, the shaft terminating in a gate. A spring is supported within the housing and influences the gate in an open position to permit fluid flow between the inlet and outlet. Upon the occurrence of a pressure differential resulting from a fluid flow through the inlet exceeding a biasing force of the spring, the gate is caused to displace against a valve seat communicating the inlet with the outlet in order to interrupt fluid flow in a standby mode and to define a closed position. The motor operates in a further throttling mode to linearly and incrementally displace the gate between the open and closed positions said outlet and in order to adjust flow through the outlet.

  • Publication number: 20200368843
Abstract: In a method of applying a weld to a target surface, a guide rail arrangement is attached to the target, the guide rail arrangement including at least one guide rail. A weld head carriage having a carriage housing, a rail follower assembly, and a sonotrode is movably mounted to the guide rail arrangement so that the follower assembly engages each guide rail for movement there-along. The weld head carriage is positioned adjacent the target surface, feedstock material is deposited onto the target surface, and the sonotrode is extended to engage the deposited feedstock material and apply a welding force to the feedstock material and the target. Relative movement between the carriage and the guide rail arrangement is initiated and ultrasonic vibrations are conducted into the feedstock material and the target, thereby welding the feedstock material to the target surface.
