  • Patent number: 12293871
Abstract: Described herein are concepts, system and techniques which provide a means to construct robust high-field superconducting magnets using simple fabrication techniques and modular components that scale well toward commercialization. The resulting magnet assembly—which utilizes non-insulated, high temperature superconducting tapes (HTS) and provides for optimized coolant pathways—is inherently strong structurally, which enables maximum utilization of the high magnetic fields available with HTS technology. In addition, the concepts described herein provide for control of quench-induced current distributions within the tape stack and surrounding superstructure to safely dissipate quench energy, while at the same time obtaining acceptable magnet charge time. The net result is a structurally and thermally robust, high-field magnet assembly that is passively protected against quench fault conditions.

  • Publication number: 20250131187
Abstract: Conditioning prompts for generative artificial intelligence (AI) systems includes receiving a user prompt via a user interface. The user prompt is for a generative artificial intelligence system and is specified as natural language. A selected prompt class is chosen from a plurality of prompt classes by matching a natural language processing analysis of the user prompt to a prompt template of the selected prompt class. A well-structured prompt is created by transforming the user prompt based on the prompt template of the selected prompt class. A conditioned prompt is generated by combining a set of one or more conditioning instructions from the selected prompt class with the well-structured prompt. The conditioned prompt is submitted to the generative artificial intelligence system. The conditioned prompt is configured to evoke a response including a structured output from the generative artificial intelligence system.

  • Patent number: 12186607
Abstract: A fire suppression system includes a feed port and a channel to couple the feed port to an actuation chamber. A solenoid valve controllably blocks a connection between the feed port and the channel. Pressure from the feed port builds up in the actuation chamber based on the solenoid valve unblocking the connection. A piston is in communication with the actuation chamber. The system also includes an inlet port closed off by a disc. The piston travels through the inlet port and burst the disc based on the pressure in the actuation chamber. An outlet port is coupled to the inlet port.

  • Publication number: 20240273175
Abstract: Introduced here are approaches to authenticating unknown persons based on variations in the spatial properties and directionality of blood flow through vessels over time. At a high level, these approaches rely on monitoring vascular dynamics to recognize unknown persons. For example, an authentication platform may examine digital images of an anatomical region to establish how a property of the vasculature within the anatomical region changed as a result of deformation. Examples of properties include the position, size, volume, and pressure of vessels included in the vasculature, as well as the velocity and acceleration of blood flowing through the vasculature.
