Abstract: A system for credential authentication comprises an interface configured to receive a create indication to create a visitor network credential and receive a certify indication to certify an authentication device to use a network, and a processor configured to provide the visitor network credential to the authentication device in response to the certify indication, provide a proof request to the authentication device, receive a proof response, validate the proof response using a distributed ledger, generate a network certificate, and provide the network certificate to the authentication device.

Abstract: A corner mounting system for self-aligning and self-leveling mounting of a mounting object in a corner between a left adjoining wall and a right adjoining wall includes: a left corner mounting device with left front and rear mounting surface; a right corner mounting device with right front and rear mounting surfaces; and optionally left and right lower support members; such that the left and right corner mounting devices can be connected between respectively the left and right adjoining walls, and left and right rear sides of the mounting object, using double-sided tape or screws, which can slide into notches of the left and right left corner mounting devices.

Abstract: A diffuser for use with a wound retractor and configured to deliver gases includes an interface tube for connecting to a gases supply and a diffuser interface positioned at a proximal end of the interface tube, the diffuser interface configured for delivering gases received from the gases supply through the interface tube, and the diffuser interface comprising a diffusion mechanism configured to deliver gases in a diffusion direction. A wound retractor with an integrated diffuser is also disclosed. The wound retractor includes an upper ring, a lower ring, a sleeve extending between and connecting the upper ring to the lower ring, and an integrated diffuser interface having a gases inlet and a diffusion mechanism.

Abstract: A composite cylinder for an actuator. The cylinder includes: a radially inner fibre-reinforced polymer layer defining a hollow bore; a radially outer fibre-reinforced polymer layer; a primary conductive coil, and a first and second secondary conductive coil wound between the radially inner fibre-reinforced polymer layer and the radially outer fibre-reinforced polymer layer. The first secondary conductive coil extends axially along at least a first region of the cylinder and the second secondary conductive coil extends axially along at least a second region of the cylinder, and wherein the primary conductive coil extends axially along at least a central region of the cylinder between the first region and the second region.

A command is sent from the remote device to the mobile device, causing the mobile device to execute the command in the single mobile application.

Abstract: A top drive for well operations having a gearbox, a traction motor connected to the gearbox so that a motor shaft of the traction motor extends into the gearbox, a quill extending into the gearbox, a gear train positioned within the gearbox and mechanically connected between the traction motor shaft and the quill, and a connector positioned in the gear train, wherein in a coupled configuration the connector communicates torque through the gear train, and wherein in a decoupled configuration the connector does not communicate torque through the gear train. A method for operating a top drive by applying a first torque to a quill with two traction motors, disconnecting one of the traction motors from the quill, and applying a second torque less than the first torque to the quill with the non-disconnected traction motor.

Abstract: A system for credential authentication includes an interface and a processor. The interface is configured to receive a request from an application for authorization to access. Access to the application is requested by a user using a user device. The processor is configured to provide an authentication request to the user device, receive a device credential, wherein the device credential is backed by data stored in a distributed ledger, determine a user identifier and an authentication device associated with the user based at least in part on the device credential, provide a proof request to the authentication device, receive a proof response, determine that the proof response is valid, generate a token, and provide the token to the application authorizing access for the user.

Abstract: Interfaces for positive pressure therapy having a mask assembly, a headgear assembly and a connection port assembly are disclosed herein. The connection port assembly has a ball joint connection with the mask assembly and includes a quick release button for easily disconnecting the gases source conduit from the mask assembly. The mask assembly may include a bias flow vent that is formed separately and attached to the mask assembly. The headgear assembly encircles the rear region of the user’s head and may include at least some portions that are substantially non-stretchable.

Abstract: An adjustable heat and moisture exchanger (HME) for use with a breathing apparatus to humidify air comprising: an inlet for coupling to a source of air, and an outlet for delivering air to a patient and an air flow path between them, HME material in the flow path with two or more surfaces exposed to the air flow path to exchange humidity between patient air flow and an inlet air flow, at least one adjuster for adjusting the configuration of the HME material and/or the air flow to alter the air flow over the surfaces of the HME material to alter the exchange of humidity.

Abstract: Systems and methods for fulfilling travel requests are described herein. A method for fulfilling travel requests may commence with receiving a travel request from a user and determining itinerary components based on the travel request. The method may further include generating an itinerary network based on the itinerary components. The itinerary network may be generated by creating a plurality of nodes and creating a plurality of edges within the itinerary network. Each of the plurality of nodes may represent information associated with the travel request. The plurality of edges may represent an order of the plurality of nodes in time based on dependencies between the plurality of nodes. The method may further include generating a travel itinerary responsive to the travel request. The method may continue with presenting the generated travel itinerary to the user on a user interface of a computing device associated with the user.

Abstract: An energy efficient heat pump for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a compressor system configured to direct a working fluid flow along a working fluid circuit of the energy efficient heat pump. The compressor system includes a first compressor configured to direct the working fluid flow in a first direction along the working fluid circuit and a second compressor configured to direct the working fluid flow in a second direction along the working fluid circuit, opposite the first direction. The energy efficient heat pump also includes a controller communicatively coupled to the first compressor and the second compressor, where the controller is configured to operate the first compressor and suspend operation of the second compressor in a cooling mode of the energy efficient heat pump and to operate the second compressor and suspend operation of the first compressor in a heating mode of the energy efficient heat pump.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to improvements in the design of a messaging inbox. The inbox may display different units or “modules” for providing a user with quick access to different inbox functionalities that they might not otherwise be aware of (or inclined to use on a regular basis). After a number of recent or unread messages are shown in the inbox's initial interface, the messages end and are replaced with modules. Many different types of functionality may be the subject of the modules (e.g., a module for sharing local content such as photos from a photo album, a People/States module, Top Contacts, New Behavior, Live Videos, Events, Businesses, or Messaging Stickers). Once the available modules have been scrolled through, the interface may revert to more messages, such as less-recent or previously read threads from the original messages. Unread threads may also be collapsed in the top section of the inbox, or included in a module.

Abstract: An optical display comprises: a first waveguide comprising a first surface and a second surface, an input coupler, a fold grating, and an output grating. The input coupler receives collimated first wavelength light from an Input Image Node causes the light to travel within the first waveguide via total internal reflection between the first surface and the second surface to the fold grating. The fold grating provides pupil expansion in a first direction directs the light to the output grating via total internal reflection between the first surface and the second surface. The output grating provides pupil expansion in a second direction different than the first direction and causes the light to exit the first waveguide from the first surface or the second surface. At least one of the input coupler, fold grating and output grating is a rolled k-vector grating, and the fold grating is a dual interaction grating.

Abstract: A light source includes an array of micro-light emitting diodes (micro-LEDs) configured to emit light, a first semiconductor layer on the array of micro-LEDs and including porous structures formed therein to diffuse the light emitted by the array of micro-LEDs, and a second semiconductor layer on the first semiconductor layer. The second semiconductor layer includes a flat surface opposing the first semiconductor layer and is configured to couple the light diffused by the porous structures out of the light source through the flat surface.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to improvements in the design of a messaging inbox. Abstract: Multiplexed reflection and transmission gratings, and methods of their manufacture, are provided that improve uniformity with laser light, that is, reduced banding and other illumination artifacts occurring in waveguides. The mechanism for this can be the multiple reflections between the waveguide reflecting surfaces and the reflection hologram, which promote illumination averaging as beam propagation processes within a waveguide. In some gratings, a beam splitter layer overlapping the multiplexed gratings can be provided for the purposes of reducing banding in a laser-illuminated waveguide. The beam splitter can be provided by one or more dielectric layers. The beamsplitter can have sensitivity to one polarization. The beamsplitter can be sensitive to S-polarization. The beam splitter can be an anti-reflection coating optimized for normal incidence that becomes reflective at high TIR angles when immersed in glass or plastic.

Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards causing the generation of a content selection graph (or set of graphs) upon receipt of a notification that a new graph or replacement graph is needed with respect to a starting timepoint. For a new graph, a timepoint for that new graph indicates the need for the new graph at a given starting time. For a replacement graph, a notification (subscribed from a monitoring service) can indicate that an existing graph has changed; a replacement graph is generated with a graph identifier of the replacement graph, which then replaces the graph identifier of the existing graph in the mappings of valid graphs to start times. A Redis cache can be used to maintain the various graph sets, including the active graph sets and graph sets that will become active at a future time.
