  • Patent number: 10464995
Abstract: Fibronectin type III (10Fn3) binding domains having novel designs that are associated with reduced immunogenicity are provided. The application describes alternative 10Fn3 binding domains in which certain immunogenic regions are not modified when producing a binder in order to maintain recognition as a self antigen by the host organism. The application also describes 10Fn3 binding domains in which HLA anchor regions have been destroyed thereby reducing the immunogenic contribution of the adjoining region. Also provided are 10Fn3 domains having novel combinations of modified regions that can bind to a desired target with high affinity.

  • Publication number: 20190334729
Abstract: A method includes receiving a first message from a device via a network. The method includes determining a device type of the device. In response to determining that the device type satisfies a criterion, sending a second message granting the device limited access to the network subject to a first restriction level that limits bandwidth usage by the device to a first consumption threshold and sending a network access request to a second device associated with an operator of the access point. The method includes receiving a response to the network access request from the second device. The method also includes, responsive to the response indicating to grant the device access to the network subject to a second restriction level, allowing the device access to the network subject to the second restriction level, where the second restriction level limits bandwidth usage by the device to a second consumption threshold that is greater than the first consumption threshold.

  • Patent number: 10425254
Abstract: A gateway provides duplex-directional, multimedia ad hoc mesh networking, peer-to-peer direct communications, power optimization, dynamic configuration, and data management, while operating within various devices and network topologies. A multitasking virtual machine monitor for mobile networked devices, that is capable of functional expandability and portability to various operating environments, interoperability with a variety of operating systems, the Gateway Control System (GCS) performs functional capabilities in both a local and a networked topology using local and remote hardware and software. Software within the GCS is partitioned into sequentially, autonomous code, referred to herein as “modules,” each module being configured to communicate with hardware and other gateway modules. Collectively, all gateway modules are referred to herein as the gateway stack (GS). Each member of the GS can be turned on or off, downloaded from a remote site, and dynamically configured.
