  • Patent number: 9176789
Abstract: There are described a system, apparatus and/or method according to which collected history data from monitorable and/or manageable entities within a server estate or data center is used to tailor a model to the past behavior and/or loading upon individual ones or parts of ones of the entities. The tailored model can then be used to predict a future value for one or more metrics included in the history data for an entity or part of an entity under consideration. The predicted value can then be used to determine whether some form of corrective action is required in respect of the entity, entity part or some other entity or entity part. Alternatively or in addition, predicted values for more than one entity or entity part can be aggregated to determine whether some form of corrective action is required in respect of the entity, entity part or some other entity or entity part. A corrective action can be applied on an automated or on a manual basis.

  • Publication number: 20150051149
Abstract: Fibronectin type III (10Fn3) binding domains having novel designs that are associated with reduced immunogenicity are provided. The application describes alternative 10Fn3 binding domains in which certain immunogenic regions are not modified when producing a binder in order to maintain recognition as a self antigen by the host organism. The application also describes 10Fn3 binding domains in which HLA anchor regions have been destroyed thereby reducing the immunogenic contribution of the adjoining region. Also provided are 10Fn3 domains having novel combinations of modified regions that can bind to a desired target with high affinity.

  • Publication number: 20150006072
Abstract: A comprehensive system to optimize utilization of transportation resources, including public vehicles such as municipal buses, quasi-public vehicles such as university and corporate campus shuttles, private vehicles, and freight carriers (all participating vehicles collectively, “Transportation Assets”) and provide superior, expedient, efficient, and economical transportation options to prospective passengers or cargo items (each, a “Rider”). A central tracking and guidance system (the “Coordination System”) will monitor the current itineraries, present locations, capabilities, and operator-designated preferences of Transportation Assets. A Rider seeking transportation will be directed to a point of rendezvous with a Transportation Asset on the basis of computer or smartphone-provided destination and price preference information given by such Rider, and such Rider's mobility.
