  • Patent number: 11252875
Abstract: A paneling structure for configuring landscaping designs, living wall designs, and green wall designs. The paneling structure includes a panel structure and a planter structure that is affixed to the panel structure. The planter structure has a container like structure with sidewalls. One of the planter sidewalls include male protrusion members which engage with female members provided as openings along the front face of the panel structure to mount the planter to the panel. The panel structure further includes perimeter side edges being lined with male and female members. The male members of the panel structure engage with the female member of other panel structures to form a wall panel. An irrigation assembly may also be implemented into the paneling structure.

  • Publication number: 20220014723
Abstract: Three-dimensional (3D) performance capture and machine learning can be used to re-render high quality novel viewpoints of a captured scene. A textured 3D reconstruction is first rendered to a novel viewpoint. Due to imperfections in geometry and low-resolution texture, the 2D rendered image contains artifacts and is low quality. Accordingly, a deep learning technique is disclosed that takes these images as input and generates more visually enhanced re-rendering. The system is specifically designed for VR and AR headsets, and accounts for consistency between two stereo views.

  • Publication number: 20210366072
Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to a threat detection system that shows a user an incident as it develops in real time by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to more accurately focus cameras and highlight the areas of concern within those feeds, providing a much more efficient user interface to the operator. These annotated feeds and feed focused triggering events can also be connected to third party systems. This timeline of events and evidence (small annotated clip of detection when available) is archived and can be reviewed at a later date, containing an accurate timeline of the incident as it progressed.

  • Patent number: 11138003
Abstract: A method and system for automatically determining a device-specific configuration for a software application operating on a user device. A configuration monitoring program monitors local user data stored on a user device and generates a device-specific prediction model using a machine learning algorithm applied to the monitored local data. The configuration monitoring program also receives a global prediction model generated remotely using global user data collected from a plurality of user devices. The configuration monitoring program generates a predicted device-specific configuration of the application operating on the user device using prediction data from both the device-specific prediction model and the global prediction model and updates the configuration of the given application using the predicted device-specific configuration.

  • Publication number: 20210058736
Abstract: A system, method and device for tracing contact or proximity between people and between people and items to be tracked, wherein data is recorded by the device and contacts between people and other people or things is traced for disease transmission containment or for optimized asset utilization and fraud prevention. In a preferred embodiment, the device communicates stored data to a second device. In a further preferred embodiment, when a proximity threshold has been violated between two devices that have come too close to each other, an alarm in each device is activated to alert the persons bearing the device that a proximity violation has occurred, such that the proximity violation is immediately corrected by the individuals involved moving apart so that the alarm returns to a deactivated state. The device, system and method of this invention provides a valuable readiness resource for pandemic disease spread containment.

  • Publication number: 20200392016
Abstract: An on-demand filter structure including a first hydrophilic protective layer comprising a first surface exposable to a stream of water. A contact area on the first surface receives the stream. The first hydrophilic protective layer receives the stream and distributes water out a second surface, primarily using gravity. An activated carbon felt (ACF) layer is adjacent to the second surface, wherein the ACF layer is configured for water filtration, primarily using gravity. A second hydrophilic protective layer includes a third surface adjacent the ACF layer and a fourth surface. The third surface receives filtered water from the ACF layer, and the fourth surface expels the filtered water primarily using gravity, wherein the first and second hydrophilic protective layers sandwich the ACF layer. A cross section of the first hydrophilic protective layer, the ACF layer, and the second hydrophilic protective layer has a curvature.
