Abstract: An apparatus for frothing a liquid food product is disclosed. It comprises a drive unit (1) and a frothing unit (3). The frothing unit (3) comprises a guide rod (30), which is configured along at least one section as a threaded rod (31). A frothing element (40) is in threaded engagement with the guide rod (30) and can thus be moved along a helical path on the guide rod (30). At least one dog (36, 36?) is driven by the drive unit (1) in a circular motion about the longitudinal axis of the guide rod (30) and in the process entrains the frothing element (40) such that said element is driven to perform a helical motion on the guide rod (30). In this way, the frothing element can perform an up and down motion superimposed on the rotational motion thereof along the longitudinal direction.

Abstract: A grinder container (10) to be inserted in a coffee grinder comprises a lid (20) having a center inlet hole (26). The lid (20) rests on an opening rim (18) of the grinder container (10) with a peripheral lid rim (21). A peripheral web (30) projects into the interior of the grinder container (10) at a distance to the peripheral lid rim (21) and is opposite an inner wall (X) of the grinder container (10). In order to level out any dimensional tolerances regarding the height of grinder containers, the lid (20) consists of a deformation-resistant center lid part (24) which is produced of a rigid plastic material and comprises the center inlet hole (26) and of an elastically deformable lid part (22) which is produced of a soft rubber material, said lid part being connected to the center lid part (24) and comprising the peripheral web (30).

Abstract: The invention discloses a plunger-filter beverage-making machine with a lid which can be closed by a valve. The beverage-making machine has a vessel (2), a lid (3) and a filter piston (4) which can be vertically displaced in the vessel and has a piston rod (41). The lid (3) contains a pouring opening (37) which can be closed by means of an elongate lever (33) which extends transverse to the piston rod. To this end, the lever is mounted on the lid such that it can pivot about a horizontal axis. A removal opening (29) is formed in the lid. A vertical actuation rod (41) passes through the lid. Inside the container, a preparing element (42), for example, a mixing element, is attached to the actuation rod. Outside the container, a grip element (45) is attached to the actuation rod. The grip element can be moved together with the actuation rod between a lower position and an upper position. A closure (30) can be swiveled about a horizontal swivel axis between a closed position that doses the removal opening and a retaining position that releases the removal opening, wherein in the retaining position, the closure fixes the grip element in the lower position thereof. The closure has a lever which is mounted above the lower lid wall to be swivelable about a horizontal axis. The lever has an actuation region in order to swivel the lever from a first position in which the closure closes the pouring spout to a second position in which the closure releases the pouring spout.
