    Abstract: A beverage preparation device is disclosed which comprises an insert that is inserted into a receptacle and can be interlocked with the receptacle. The beverage preparation device comprises a receptacle (1), a receptacle holder (2), and an insert, e.g. a lid (3) or a holding element. The receptacle holder (2) has at least one element (24) which protrudes from the receptacle (1) and on which at least one engaging structure (26) is provided that cooperates with a second engaging structure (34) on the insert (3) in such a way that the insert is releasably interlocked with the receptacle (1). Preferably, the two engaging structures represent a bayonet joint.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a plunger-filter beverage-making machine with a lid which can be closed by a valve. The beverage-making machine has a vessel (2), a lid (3) and a filter piston (4) which can be vertically displaced in the vessel and has a piston rod (41). The lid (3) contains a pouring opening (37) which can be closed by means of an elongate lever (33) which extends transverse to the piston rod. To this end, the lever is mounted on the lid such that it can pivot about a horizontal axis. The lever has, in the region of its front end, a closure body (36) in order to close the pouring opening and, in the region of its rear end, an operating region (331) in order to pivot the lever by virtue of pressure exerted by a finger of a user.

    Abstract: An apparatus for frothing a liquid food product is disclosed. It comprises a drive unit (1) and a frothing unit (3). The frothing unit (3) comprises a guide rod (30), which is configured along at least one section as a threaded rod (31). A frothing element (40) is in threaded engagement with the guide rod (30) and can thus be moved along a helical path on the guide rod (30). At least one dog (36, 36?) is driven by the drive unit (1) in a circular motion about the longitudinal axis of the guide rod (30) and in the process entrains the frothing element (40) such that said element is driven to perform a helical motion on the guide rod (30). In this way, the frothing element can perform an up and down motion superimposed on the rotational motion thereof along the longitudinal direction.
