    Abstract: A grinder container (10) to be inserted in a coffee grinder comprises a lid (20) having a center inlet hole (26). The lid (20) rests on an opening rim (18) of the grinder container (10) with a peripheral lid rim (21). A peripheral web (30) projects into the interior of the grinder container (10) at a distance to the peripheral lid rim (21) and is opposite an inner wall (X) of the grinder container (10). In order to level out any dimensional tolerances regarding the height of grinder containers, the lid (20) consists of a deformation-resistant center lid part (24) which is produced of a rigid plastic material and comprises the center inlet hole (26) and of an elastically deformable lid part (22) which is produced of a soft rubber material, said lid part being connected to the center lid part (24) and comprising the peripheral web (30).

  • CLOSURE FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER

    Abstract: A closure for a beverage container is disclosed. Said closure comprises an inserted element (2) and a closing member (3) which can be inserted into a mouth of the inserted element (2). A first engaging structure (22) mounted on the internal face of the inserted element (2) can be connected to a second engaging structure (36) arranged on the external face of the closing member (3). The inserted element (2) further has a funnel section (25) above the first engaging structure (22). The closing member (3) has a closed top surface (32), a handle element (31), and an apron (35) with outlets (33). The engaging structures (22, 36) are designed such that the closing member (3) can be moved relative to the inserted element in a vertical direction between a first position in which the closing member (3) seals the mouth and a second position in which the outlets (33) open passages for a liquid.

    Abstract: A spice mill for cutting up two different spices, in particular salt and pepper, is disclosed. Two spice containers (17, 18) and two grinding mechanisms (50, 50?) are arranged in a base part (10). A cover part (20) can be removed from the base part (10) and serves as a rotary handle. When the cover part (20) is removed, filling openings (15, 16) for the spice containers (17, 18) are opened up. An encapsulated gear mechanism (30) is arranged in the base part (10) between the cover part and the grinding mechanisms. When the cover part (20) is rotated in a first direction of rotation, the gear mechanism (30) drives the first grinding mechanism (50). By contrast, upon rotation in the opposite direction, the second grinding mechanism (50?) is driven. In a preferred embodiment, the gear mechanism is arranged in an upper region of the base part and, together with the base part, bounds the filling openings.
