  • Patent number: 10719818
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating proposed budget amounts by a budget tool are provided. A budget system identifies a budget category for a user. Information associated with one or more payees of the user and payment history information associated with one or more payments made to a payee included in the one or more payees is obtained from a bill payment system. Based at least in part on the obtained information, the payee is identified by the budget system as a budget payee associated with the budget category. Based at least in part on the identified payment history information, a proposed budget amount for the budget payee is calculated. A presentation is generated that includes an indication of the budget category, an indication of the budget payee, and an indication of the proposed budget amount. The generated presentation is transmitted by the budget system for display to the user.

  • Publication number: 20200028871
Abstract: Features of the present disclosure solve the above-identified problem by implementing user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) system to group one or more computer machines into different clusters based on monitored behavior of the one or more computer machines. Specifically, a network device (e.g., administrator computer system) may monitor the activity of the one or more computer machines for a predetermined time period in order to identify the applications that the computer machines utilize. Based on the clustering and the identifying, the network device may automatically apply different access control policies for different clusters of machines and review those access control policies against future behavior periodically. By clustering machines based on usage behavior patterns and automatically recommending a rule set for deployment, the UEBA system may reduce potential points of failure for cybersecurity breaches.

  • Patent number: 10101484
Abstract: Various implementations described herein are directed to a method for assessing risks of compartmentalization. In one implementation, the method may include receiving seismic data for a formation of interest; identifying areas in the formation having a dip angle greater than about 30 degrees; performing a plurality of downhole fluid analysis (DFA) within a wellbore around the formation having the dip angle greater than about 30 degrees to identify areas experiencing mass density inversion; and determining the areas experiencing mass density inversion by DFA as having one or more risks of compartmentalization.

  • Patent number: 10083030
Abstract: An asynchronous dependency resolution system receives a request to store a first application component in an application repository, stores a first dependency map for the first application component in a dependency repository, and generates a first executable bundle for the first application component. The asynchronous dependency resolution system determines that the dependency repository comprises a first association between the first application component and a second application component, where the first application component is a dependency of a second application component, obtains source code for the second application component, and generates a second executable bundle for the second application component using the source code for the first and second application components.

  • Patent number: 9686206
Abstract: The present invention relates to a temporal base method of mutual exclusion control of a shared resource. The invention will usually be implemented by a plurality of host computers sharing a shared resource where each host computer will read a reservation memory that is associated with the shared resource. Typically a first host computer will perform and initial read of the reservation memory and when the reservation memory indicates that the shared resource is available, the first host computer will write to the reservation memory. After a time delay, the host computer will read the reservation memory again to determine whether it has won access to the resource. The first host computer may determine that it has won access to the shared resource by checking that data in the reservation memory includes an identifier corresponding to the first host computer.

  • Patent number: 9569255
Abstract: A workflow for a work item may be executed using an on-device persistent state machine-based architecture. The on-device state machine-based architecture may include a state machine manager that executes the workflow in accordance with a state machine that includes multiple states corresponding to stages of execution in the workflow. Each state in the state machine is associated with one or more tasks to be executed in connection with that state. The state machine further specifies one or more state transitions for each state of the state machine. A state transition associated with a particular state indicates a next state to transition to from the particular state upon completion of the one or more tasks associated with the particular state.

  • Publication number: 20170017541
Abstract: A two part process is used for modifying records to be written and retrieved from tape devices. A record is appended with a cyclic redundancy check and a string of zeros. Submitting the entire record to tape drives which are logical block protection enabled will result in no change. For drives that are not LBP enabled, the string of zeros at the end of the record is removed. In addition to determining whether a drive is LBP compliant, a determination may be made as to whether a drive is a linear tape open drive from a particular manufacturer. Linear tape open drives may behave similarly as drives which may not be enabled with logical block protection.

  • Publication number: 20160342314
Abstract: Various technologies described herein pertain to managing a graphical user interface of a computer-executable application for a user. A customization of a graphical control element for a function of the computer-executable application in the graphical user interface can be identified for the user. The graphical control element can be selectable to facilitate performance of the function of the computer-executable application. The customization of the graphical control element for the function of the computer-executable application can be identified based on individual usage data of the user for functions of the computer-executable application and aggregated usage data of a plurality of users for the functions of the computer-executable application. Further, the graphical user interface can be modified to incorporate the customization of the graphical control element for the function of the computer-executable application.
