Patent number: 11210379Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure electronically notarize a document. The system can receive biometric information from a user, extract characteristics from the biometric information, and compare the characteristics of the biometric information with previously stored characteristics of the user's biometric information. When the characteristics of the biometric information match the previously stored characteristics to a threshold, the system can create an identity of the user using the characteristics of the biometric information. The system can send a document to the user for cryptographic signature and receive an indication that the document has been signed. The cryptographic signature can be generated with a digest of the document, the identity, and a cryptographic key associated with the user. The system can inspect the digest of the document, the cryptographic key, and the identity associated with the document to verify authenticity of the document and the identity of the user.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 2020Date of Patent: December 28, 2021Assignee: UNITED SERVICES AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION (USAA)Inventors: David Lindley, Alexander Benetto Nagelberg, Maland Keith Mortensen, Joseph Gregory Delong, Shantanu K. Patent number: 11190518Abstract: The innovation disclosed and claimed herein, in one aspect thereof, comprises systems and methods of an improved multi-domain management system. The innovation provides mitigation of uncontrolled privilege and access, lacking defined roles for at user. The innovation mitigates risk of inadvertent error while not diminishing desired trans-domain user capability. Functions such as creating user and/or service accounts, group creations, group memberships, host memberships, and the like, may thus be undertaken from a single high level location, based on controlled user rules at that level, and may do so without regard or limitation to the specific domains or master server controls at the specific domains. Agnostic aspects are coupled with scalability regardless of number of domains.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2018Date of Patent: November 30, 2021Assignee: WELLS FARGO BANK, N.A.Inventors: Robyn Alexis Alexander, Patrick James Bair, Zachery Phillip Hostens, Arian Adolfo Amador, Joseph Gregory Acklin, Raymond Lawson Gump, Robert Patrick Smith

Patent number: 11080450Abstract: A netlist may include a set of resistance components of an integrated circuit (IC) design, and may specify a length, a width, and a metal layer of each resistance component in the set of resistance components, and physical locations of circuit nodes connected to each resistance component in the set of resistance components. A process description may specify the resistivity and thickness of each metal layer in the IC design. For a resistance component in the set of resistance components, resistivity and thickness of the metal layer of the resistance component may be determined based on the process description, and an inductance component corresponding to the resistance component may be determined based on the length and the width of the resistance component, the resistivity and the thickness of the metal layer of the resistance component, and the physical locations of the circuit nodes connected to the resistance component.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 2020Date of Patent: August 3, 2021Assignee: Synopsys, Inc.Inventor: Joseph Gregory Rollins

Patent number: 10645188Abstract: Techniques for preparing a user device for use in a location having limited network access include replacing data in the device cache prior to the user device reaching the location. A length of time until cached data expires, a length of time used to replace the cached data, and a length of time for the user device to reach the location are determined. Portions of the cached data that will expire while the user device is within the location are replaced. The time at which the data is replaced is based on the length of time used to replace the data and the length of time for the user device to reach the location. While the user device is in the location, functions that transmit large quantities of data may instead be replaced with more efficient data types or queued for later execution after the user device exits the location.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2017Date of Patent: May 5, 2020Assignee: AMAZON TECHNOLOGIES, INC.Inventors: Abinash Mahapatra, Paul Andrew Mietz Egli, Joseph Gregory Muoio

Patent number: 10478600Abstract: A segmental crimper comprises at least three crimper segments and an actuator. The crimper segments are arranged circumferentially about a crimper axis that defines axial and radial directions. The crimper segments are movable relative to each other in a manner such that the crimper segments collectively define a variable size aperture that is aligned with the crimper axis. Each of the crimper segments comprises a radio frequency heating element. The actuator is operatively connected to the crimper segments in a manner such that movement of the actuator causes all of the crimper segments to simultaneously move relative to each other and alters the size of the aperture.Type: GrantFiled: May 28, 2014Date of Patent: November 19, 2019Assignee: MACHINE SOLUTIONS, INC.Inventors: Kevin Brent Fausett, Tulsie P.
