The present invention may be configured to receive instructions to link a token associated with a first resource distribution instrument to a second resource distribution instrument, where the first resource distribution instrument and the second resource distribution instrument are associated with different types of source retainers and map, based on receiving the instructions, the token to the second resource distribution instrument.

The first manipulation signal is characterized by a first wavelength corresponding to a transition between an S manifold and a P manifold of a first component of the atomic object and detuned from the S-to-P transition by a first detuning. The second manipulation signal is characterized by a second wavelength corresponding to a transition between the P manifold and a D manifold of the first component and detuned from the P-to-D transition by a second detuning. The first and second detunings selected to establish a dark state associated with a two-photon transition between the S manifold and the D manifold.

The present invention may be configured to provide, to another system, staging information including a digital certificate, a PIN, and a protocol for storing on a device, receive from the device a request to connect to an internal network after user input of the PIN, receive a digital certificate from the device, establish a wireless connection between the device and the internal network, and cause the device to delete the PIN. In some embodiments, the system is configured to permit communication from the device to the other system for a predetermined time window. In some embodiments, the system receives updates from the other system, via an external network, and the system sends the updates to the device, via the internal network.

In some embodiments, a method for operating waste chutes comprises: receiving, using a hardware processor of a waste chute device, an identity associated with a user of the waste chute device; in response to receiving the identity associated with the user, allowing, using the hardware processor, a door of the waste chute device to be opened; determining, using the hardware processor, a number of items and at least one type associated with the items that have been placed in an opening of the waste chute device; determining, using the hardware processor, that the door of the waste chute device has been closed; updating, using the hardware processor, information associated with the user based on the number of items and the at least one type of items that have been placed in the opening of the waste chute device; and providing, using the hardware processor, the user with the updated information.

In some embodiments, an occupancy sensor includes: a magnetometer that detects changes in a magnetic field when a vehicle moves over the magnetometer; an optical sensor that detects one or more objects in a field of view of the optical sensor; a transmitter for transmitting sensor data to a gateway device, and a processor that controls the magnetometer, the optical sensor, and the transmitter. In some embodiments, the processor is configured to: detect, using the magnetometer, that a change in the magnetic field is greater than a particular threshold value; in response to the magnetometer detecting that the change in the magnetic field is greater than the particular threshold value, activating the optical sensor; receive, using the optical sensor, the sensor data associated with the one or more objects in the field of view of the optical sensor; and transmit, using the transmitter, the sensor data to the gateway device.

The system may review the token selected for confidence and transmit a resource distribution request amount and a security token tied to the identified user application. Upon contactless communication with a computer terminal, the system extracts the resource distribution request information and security token. The system may confirm the resource distribution request information and security token received at pre-stage with a user current token selection and authorize the pre-staged resource distribution at the computer terminal without additional authentication.

In addition, the disclosed systems can generate user requests to join the group messaging thread based on user interaction with a group messaging graphical element within ephemeral content and can present the requests to the creator of the ephemeral content. Abstract: A server is configured to manage a network of participant devices that are distributed across a plurality of participants in a virtually managed competitive event. Events may be configured and offered via the platform, and participants that have devices meeting certain requirements may register for events. Events that have a high goal for accuracy and verifiability may require a smartphone and smartwatch to be possessed and worn throughout the event in order to gather GPS data, step count, heart rate, fingerprint data, facial recognition images, and other verification data before, during, and after the event. Where data cannot be verified and indicates a technical error or falsification of data, participants may be warned, and their results may be flagged to indicate that they are not verifiable and may be erroneous. Event results may be provided for a plurality of participants with information indicating the accuracy and verifiability of individual results.

Abstract: A software platform for managing fitness challenges or other competitive group challenges may include a multivariable progress tracking feature and interface. Multivariable progress tracking may be configured by defining a plurality of tracked inputs such as steps taken, minutes spent exercising, hydration levels, and weight loss. A relationship may be configured between multivariable inputs and a point total goal for the challenge such that each type of input from the user will contribute a variable amount of points towards a total goal. Multivariable inputs may be manually provided by users, or may be automatically provided by a wearable device or other smart connected device. As user progress is tracked by point total, the system may provide users customized interface that allow input of the tracked inputs, and may display leaderboards and progress illustrations that show the progress of the entire group.
