Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to computer-assisted search of image slices. In some embodiments, an image slice having a detected finding (and representing a cross section of at least a portion of an individual) may be determined. A search space may be reduce to a subset of image slices respectively representing a cross section corresponding to the cross section represented by the determined image slice. The search space reduction may comprise filtering a set of image slices based on the cross section represented by the determined image slice. Image slice information related to the determined image slice and related one or more image slices (of the image slices subset) may be obtained based on the search space reduction. A determination of whether indications of the detected finding exist in the image slices (of the image slices subset) may be effectuated based on the image slice information.

  • Publication number: 20190355456
Abstract: A system includes a ranking engine (110) and a user interface (130). The ranking engine receives a list (114) for a patient which includes a plurality of occurrences (210) and computes a relevance score for each occurrence (210) in the list. The computed relevance score is according to a relevance scheme (116) that maps relevance scores from a lexicon controlling the list to each of the plurality of occurrences. The user interface (130) displays the list on a display device (137) of a local computing device (140) ordered by a presented computed relevance score that includes the computed relevance score. Each displayed occurrence of the plurality of occurrences includes a feedback indicator (136). The user interface receives feedback comprising an input for one displayed occurrence of the plurality of occurrences according to the feedback indicator which indicates the one displayed occurrence is to be displayed higher or lower in the list than a current position. The input is a binary indicator.

  • Publication number: 20190259494
Abstract: A system and method are provided for enabling a user to annotate a medical image. A collection of key-value pairs is provided, in which a key represents an image-observable quantity and a value represents the value of the image-observable quantity. A collection of structured finding objects is provided, wherein each structured finding object represents a set of key-value pairs, each set of key-value pairs representing a different annotation of the medical image. The user is enabled to select one or more of the collection of key-value pairs, thereby obtaining a user-selected structured finding object which represents a preliminary annotation of the medical image by the user. At least one recommended structured finding object is selected by using the user-selected structured finding object as input to a probabilistic recommendation algorithm. Feedback is provided to the user on the basis of the recommended structured finding object. The annotation is well suited for, e.g.

Abstract: A method and arrangement for determining measurements that need to be registered are disclosed. The method retrieves a plurality of clinical reports, detects a measurement in each of the plurality of clinical reports, and determines which of the detected measurements have been registered in a defined structured format. A method also identifies a plurality of patients with scheduled future clinical exam, determines if any of the plurality of patients have measurements that require registration and places the plurality of patients with the measurements requiring registration on a worklist. A further method retrieves data for a plurality of patients, determines whether each of the patients have new measurements, determines, for each of the patients, whether the new measurements have been registered, identifies a radiologist for each of the new measurements and generates a compliance scorecard for each of the radiologists.

  • Patent number: 10247829
Abstract: The concepts, systems and methods described herein are directed towards real time carrier phase monitoring and platform attitude solutions on a moving platform. In an embodiment, highly accurate platform attitude and monitored carrier phases can be determined in a single step and use data screening, error bounds inflation and statistical tests to ensure both inputs and outputs of an attitude solution are self-consistent. The method includes determining a carrier phase error level for each of the satellite-receiver tracks, identifying the satellite-receiver tracks having the carrier phase error level greater than or equal to a carrier phase error threshold, generating an attitude correction using the received data from the one or more satellite-receiver tracks having the carrier phase error level less than the carrier phase error threshold and determining a convergence state of the attitude correction. The carrier phase monitoring may be activated or dis-activated based on the convergence level.
