  • Patent number: 12162500
Abstract: Techniques for accurately predicting vehicle state errors for avoiding collisions with objects detected in an environment of a vehicle are discussed herein. A vehicle safety system can implement a model determine a representation of the vehicle usable in a scenario. The model may dynamically determine a size and/or a heading of the vehicle representation based on differences between a candidate trajectory and a current trajectory of the vehicle. The safety system can identify a potential collision between the vehicle and the object based at least in part on an overlap of the vehicle representation and an object representation.

  • Publication number: 20240407016
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for robust bandwidth part (BWP) approaches to mitigate the impact of high power narrow-band interference. For example, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive, from a base station (BS), configuration information indicating a plurality of initial bandwidth parts (BWPs). The plurality of initial BWPs may comprise a first initial BWP and a second initial BWP. The first initial BWP and the second initial BWP may be separated from each other in a frequency domain to avoid interference on at least one of the plurality of initial BWPs. The WTRU may send, based on failure to decode a transmission received in the first initial BWP, to the BS, an uplink transmission using the second initial BWP. The uplink transmission may include one or more preambles that are sent using a physical random access channel (PRACH).

  • Patent number: 12158992
Abstract: Methods of interpreting in-air hand gestures based on orientations of a wrist-wearable device are provided. The method includes receiving, from sensors of a wrist-wearable device, data associated with performance of an in-air hand gesture during a first period of time. The method includes, when determining the data indicates that the wrist-wearable device had a first orientation when the in-air hand gesture was performed during the first period of time, causing performance of a first operation. The method includes receiving, from sensors of the wrist-wearable device, new data associated with performance of the in-air hand gesture during a second period of time, the second period of time being after the first period of time. The method includes, when determining that the new data indicates that the wrist-wearable device had a second orientation when the in-air hand gesture was performed during the second period of time, causing performance of a second operation.

  • Patent number: 12158705
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe methods, devices, and systems for rupture detection and end-of-life monitoring of dynamic gas lock (DGL) membranes and pupil facet mirrors in lithographic apparatuses. A method for detecting rupture of a dynamic gas lock membrane in a lithographic apparatus includes illuminating the dynamic gas lock membrane with a measurement beam using a radiation source, in which the dynamic gas lock membrane is arranged between a wafer and projection optics of the lithography apparatus, and determining whether any radiation from the measurement beam is reflected from the dynamic gas lock membrane by using reflection collection optics, in which the reflection collection optics are arranged above the dynamic gas lock membrane. A rupture in the dynamic gas lock membrane is detected if no radiation is reflected from the dynamic gas lock membrane. If radiation is reflected from the dynamic gas lock membrane, the dynamic gas lock membrane is not ruptured.

  • Publication number: 20240361598
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for applying anti-reflective structures to a waveguide of an augmented reality display device include producing two initial molds: one formed with high precision for diffractive optical structures, and one formed with lower precision for anti-reflective structures. The two initial molds are imprinted into a single resist layer to form an integrated mold, which is then usable to simultaneously form both diffractive optical structures and anti-reflective structures. Accordingly, the cost of producing the anti-reflective structures is minimized while the efficiency of forming the diffractive optical structures and anti-reflective structures is maximized.
