    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be capable of operating according to a first transmission efficiency operating mode and a second transmission efficiency operating mode that is less power efficient than the first transmission efficiency operating mode. The first transmission efficiency operating mode may be associated with a first undesired emission level that is greater than a second undesired emission level associated with the second transmission efficiency operating mode. The UE may select to operate in one of the two transmission efficiency operating modes based on one or more communication parameters (e.g., indicated by control signaling received from a base station). For example, the UE may select to operate in the first transmission efficiency operating mode based on determining that one or more of the communication parameters satisfies at least one parameter criterion for operating in the first transmission efficiency operating mode.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) procedure for the random access channel (RACH) response message in a two-step RACH procedure. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes sending a RACH message to a base station (BS) during a two-step RACH procedure. The RACH message includes a RACH preamble and a RACH payload. The UE monitors a RACH response message from the BS during a random access response (RAR) window. The UE transmits a retransmission of the RACH message, an acknowledgement (ACK) to the RACH response message, a negative acknowledgment (NACK) to the RACH response message, or does not transmit, to the BS based on whether a RACH response message carrying a success RAR or a fallback RAR, or no RACH response message, is received from the BS during the window.

A central linkage is provided adjacent a surface of the housing of the enclosure. The central linkage translates substantially in a direction perpendicular to a plane of the opening of the enclosure. As such, the central linkage translates towards and away from the door opening. First and second rigid elongated elements are provided, each of which link the central linkage with the fixation point of a corresponding door of the two doors. Movement of one of the two doors causes a translation of the central linkage which in turn generates a corresponding movement of the second of the two doors.

    Abstract: The problem of lost circulation is pertinent to the oil industry. To prevent fluid loss, a lost circulation material (LCM), or more generally, a plugging material, can be used to effectively plug the fractures in the rock formation. If the fractures are in the production zone, it is also ideal to unplug them when the drilling operation is complete. Therefore, a material engineered to degrade after a desired period would be useful. In examples, a plugging material has been developed by gelling an oil-based fluid using a low molecular weight gelator, dibenzylidene sorbitol (DBS). DBS gels are robust and show plugging behavior. DBS is shown to chemically degrade in presence of an acid. Hence, a self-degrading gel can be synthesized by incorporating an acid into the system. Further, by varying the type and concentration of the acid, the degradation time of the gel can be controlled.
