A plumbing arrangement include a straight tube disposed between adjacent modules in the plurality of modules. An anchor arrangement for each of the plurality of battery modules can facilitate various mounting configurations for each respective battery module. An exhaust system for the battery system can be reconfigurable with a 1:1 vent tube to module ratio. Custom adapters can be configured for mounting airframer exhaust systems to each of the plurality of battery modules.
