  • Patent number: 12326968
Abstract: Techniques are provided for orienting a digital human towards an isolated human speaker. One method comprises obtaining coordinates associated with a human speaker; storing the coordinates as a variable in a memory of a multi-dimensional graphics engine; instantiating a multi-dimensional plane within the multi-dimensional graphics engine; positioning a multi-dimensional shape in the multi-dimensional plane based on the stored coordinates; and binding a digital human to the multi-dimensional shape to orient the digital human towards a position of the multi-dimensional shape. • Publication number: 20250179543
Abstract: The invention relates to norcoclaurine synthases and substrate binding sites having one or more site-specific mutation which increase the activity, when compared to the wild type synthase, of the condensation of 4-HPAA and dopamine to (S)-norcoclaurine and/or 3,4-DhPAA and dopamine to (S)-norlaudanosoline. The inventors both identified specific mutations corresponding to at position 73, 75, 77, 82, 99, 114, 141, 142, 147, 152, 174 and/or 178 in the count according to SEQ ID No: 1, and sites corresponding to the binding domains defined in SEQ IN NO: 4 and 5, where the mutated increase of the activity may be positioned within these norcoclaurine synthases. These domains are conserved regions.

  • Patent number: 12322129
Abstract: In various embodiments there is a method for camera localization within a scene. An image of a scene captured by the camera is input to a machine learning model, which has been trained for the particular scene to detect a plurality of 3D scene landmarks. The 3D scene landmarks are pre-specified in a pre-built map of the scene. The machine learning model outputs a plurality of predictions, each prediction comprising: either a 2D location in the image which is predicted to depict one of the 3D scene landmarks, or a 3D bearing vector, being a vector originating at the camera and pointing towards a predicted 3D location of one of the 3D scene landmarks. Using the predictions, an estimate of a position and orientation of the camera in the pre-built map of the scene is computed.

  • Publication number: 20250137240
Abstract: A backflow preventer for preventing a reverse flow of water in a plumbing system including a body having an inlet and an outlet. The body forms an intermediate zone between the inlet and outlet. An inlet check valve prevents the reverse flow of water from the intermediate zone through the inlet. An outlet check valve prevents the flow of water from the outlet into the intermediate zone. An inlet pressure sensor, an intermediate pressure sensor and an outlet pressure sensor provide readings for the respective zones. A controller monitors a pressure differential between the outlet pressure zone and the intermediate pressure zone to compare the pressure differential to a pre-set range. The controller generates a warning/error message when the pressure differential is outside the pre-set range. The controller can also monitor an inlet pressure in the inlet zone to generate a message if the inlet pressure varies inappropriately.
