  • Patent number: 10096483
Abstract: A method for patterning a layer increases the density of features formed over an initial patterning layer using a series of self-aligned spacers. A layer to be etched is provided, then an initial sacrificial patterning layer, for example formed using optical lithography, is formed over the layer to be etched. Depending on the embodiment, the patterning layer may be trimmed, then a series of spacer layers formed and etched. The number of spacer layers and their target dimensions depends on the desired increase in feature density. An in-process semiconductor device and electronic system is also described.

  • Publication number: 20180286879
Abstract: An array of elevationally-extending strings of memory cells, where the memory cells individually comprise a programmable charge storage transistor, comprises a substrate comprising a first region containing memory cells and a second region not containing memory cells laterally of the first region. The first region comprises vertically-alternating tiers of insulative material and control gate material. The second region comprises vertically-alternating tiers of different composition insulating materials laterally of the first region. A channel pillar comprising semiconductive channel material extends elevationally through multiple of the vertically-alternating tiers within the first region. Tunnel insulator, programmable charge storage material, and control gate blocking insulator are between the channel pillar and the control gate material of individual of the tiers of the control gate material within the first region.

  • Patent number: 10050962
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, methods, and computer program products are provided for determining a user's authentication requirements/credentials for function requiring authentication based on determining a location along an authentication continuum. The location along the authentication continuum defines the degree of authentication/credentials required to access the function and is determined based on a current state of the user and/or function attributes. The more or less that is known about the current state of the user the more or less likely the user is the user that is attempting to access the function and, thus, the authentication requirements required to access the function can be adjusted according (increased or decreased).

  • Patent number: 10015156
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for assessing network authentication requirements based on situational instance. In this regard, the invention dynamically determines specific user authentication requirements for accessing a service or executing an activity based on the determining the user's network connections, geographic location, and applications, in real-time. The invention provides a novel method for employing activity data provided by a plurality of users associated with historical activity information to vary the authentication requirements dynamically. Another aspect of the invention is directed to constructing geographic maps with predefined physical areas and overlaying graphical representations of activity data on the maps, in real-time.

  • Publication number: 20170193604
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide for systems, computer program products, and methods for a financial wellness application that provides an overview of the financial well-being of users. The financial wellness of the users may be determined by identifying personal characteristics of the users regarding background information about the users and the users' households. Based on a user's personal characteristics, financial wellness questions are determined from a plurality of financial wellness questions to present to the user for which the user provides financial wellness input. The financial wellness input is transformed into a financial situation assessment, day-to-day management assessment, and preparation for the future assessment, which are transformed into an overall wellness score. Moreover, the financial wellness input may also be compared against financial wellness thresholds.

  • Patent number: 9666801
Abstract: A method of forming a non-volatile resistive oxide memory cell includes forming a first conductive electrode of the memory cell as part of a substrate. Metal oxide-comprising material is formed over the first conductive electrode. Etch stop material is deposited over the metal oxide-comprising material. Conductive material is deposited over the etch stop material. A second conductive electrode of the memory cell which comprises the conductive material received is formed over the etch stop material. Such includes etching through the conductive material to stop relative to the etch stop material and forming the non-volatile resistive oxide memory cell to comprise the first and second conductive electrodes having both the metal oxide-comprising material and the etch stop material therebetween. Other implementations are contemplated.
