  • Publication number: 20110218851
Abstract: A computer workflow environment includes alternate pages within a search engine, with advertising query results based upon advertiser-selected geographic limitation of predetermined geographic size. The advertiser's cost is proportional to the number of advertiser-selected geographic limitations available to a user making search query of a class correlated with the advertiser participating in at least one of the alternate pages of the search engine. The search engine contains various levels of search engine pages having mixed or fixed maxima, minima, and between results pages. Various page IP Address Binaries contain geographical location and market audience sizes, and econometric pricing across various levels search engine page states and national pages, wherein the price of advertising depends upon limitations or addition to variables, to optimize profit by allowing computer users access to affordable choices of selected advertiser, based upon sale performance.

  • Patent number: 7993717
Abstract: A covering is provided for exterior or interior application on solid surfaces such as garage floors, patios, and walkways. The covering is formed as tiles formed of a top layer of fibrous material, such as carpet, and a bottom layer of adhesive applied in spaced bands, lines, strips or rows that allow the tile to be removed from the surface after installation if desired. A release sheet, preferably formed of plural pieces, is secured over the adhesive for removal during installation. A portion of the release sheet can function as a positioning strip to assist in accurately placing the tiles. The covering is manufactured by coating the bottom surface of a strip of material in beads of adhesive, smoothing the beads into bands, lines, strips or rows, and then cutting the strip into tiles using a non-mechanical cutter such as a laser.

  • Publication number: 20110161430
Abstract: An instant messaging system generates an instant messaging application user interface display object enabling the user to select one or more buddies, or a predefined group from their buddy list, and then to select a file to share with the selected buddies or group. The instant messaging system then controls sharing of the file within the selected buddies or group, by allowing only one of the sharing users to check out and modify the shared document at a given time. The instant messaging system user interface displayed to each user also displays the list of files that are shared with that user. The instant messaging system user interface further provides a current status for each shared file, including an indication of one of the sharing users that currently has the shared file checked out.

  • Publication number: 20110161507
Abstract: A method and computer program product includes initiating an instant messaging session on one or more communication devices. A first time-limitation setting for the instant messaging session based upon a user identification may be received. The first time-limitation setting may represent a maximum duration for the instant messaging session. A second time-limitation setting for the instant messaging session based upon the user identification may also be received. The second time-limitation setting may represent a minimum time between one or more instant messaging sessions. The instant messaging session may be terminated if the duration of the instant messaging session exceeds the first time-limitation setting. A subsequent instant messaging session may be prevented if the time between the instant messaging session and the subsequent communication does not exceed the second time-limitation setting.
