The email includes a link to a piece of content on a remote resource and the at least one recipient does not have sufficient rights to access the remote resource. The recipient may be allowed to access the remote resource via the link using the rights of the composer.

A notification is provided to the online user that the requester would like to join the online conversation.

Abstract: In accordance with one aspect, the present invention provides an amino-siloxane composition comprising at least one of structures I, II, III, IV or V said compositions being useful for the capture of carbon dioxide from gas streams such as power plant flue gases. In addition, the present invention provides methods of preparing the amino-siloxane compositions are provided. Also provided are methods for reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in a process stream employing the amino-siloxane compositions of the invention as species which react with carbon dioxide to form an adduct with carbon dioxide. The reaction of the amino-siloxane compositions provided by the present invention with carbon dioxide is reversible and thus, the method provides for multicycle use of said compositions.

Abstract: A process for producing a collagen/hydroxyapatite (HA) composite scaffold comprises the steps of forming a homogenous suspension of collagen and HA in an acidic solution, lyophilising the suspension until a desired final freezing temperature is reached to produce the composite scaffold, and optionally cross-linking the composite scaffold, wherein the ratio of HA to collagen is at least 1:10 (w/w). Also provided is a collagen/hydroxyapatite (HA) composite scaffold comprising a homogenous distribution of hydroxyapatite within a porous, crosslinked, collagen matrix, wherein the ratio of HA to collagen is at least 1:10 (w/w). Suitably, the composite scaffold has a porosity of at least 99% (v/v), and a compressive stiffness of at least 0.3 KPa. Composite scaffolds of the invention may be used to provide osteoconductive bone implants and tissue engineering implants.

Abstract: A carbon dioxide absorbent comprising (i) a liquid, nonaqueous silicon-based material, functionalized with one or more groups that either reversibly react with CO2 or have a high-affinity for CO2 is provided and (ii) a hydroxy-containing solvent. The absorbent may be utilized in methods to reduce carbon dioxide in an exhaust gas, and finds particular utility in power plants.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for transporting a motorized vehicle, such as a wheelchair, between the loading bridge and cargo bin of an aircraft in a timely manner. According to one embodiment of the invention, a metal cage assembly is implemented with a drop down ramp at the front and an adjustable floor that is raised by a lever handle on either side, outside of the frame. The assembly can be attached to an end of aircraft cargo belt loader by a strap that is wrapped around the belt frame and tightened via a ratcheting clamp. The adjustable floor can be raised or lowered at one end to offset the angle of the belt loader when it is raised to an upright position, for example, to reach a galley door of an aircraft. Angling of the adjustable floor can allow the floor to be substantially parallel to the loading bridge or aircraft cargo bin, thereby enabling the easy transfer of a motorized wheelchair to and from various compartments of the aircraft.

Abstract: A parametric loudspeaker system using improved modulators to compensate for the non-linearity of the parametric process in air when driving the air at saturation levels and below saturation levels. The parametric loudspeaker uses a pre-processed single sideband modulator that offers ideal linearity as characterized by square root pre-processed double sideband modulators but with a lower carrier frequency and without the wide bandwidth requirements. By eliminating some or all of the lower sideband the carrier frequency can be reduced without producing sideband frequencies in the audible range. Lower operational frequencies result in greater translation efficiency and greater output capability before reaching the saturation limit of air. A pre-processor minimizes the effects of saturation limits for double sideband, truncated double sideband or single sideband processing to achieve superior output.

Abstract: A novel maize variety designated X6P908 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof, produced by crossing Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. proprietary inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant that comprises crossing maize variety X6P908 with another maize plant. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X6P908 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X6P908, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X6P908. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X6P908 and to the maize varieties derived by the use of those methods.

Abstract: A container comprising a plastic container base, a plastic container lid, and a pair of first and second tracks is provided. The container base has a bottom, front and back ends, and a pair of sidewalls that define a storage area. The container lid is slideably disposed on the plastic container base and includes a cover portion that encloses the storage area when the plastic container is in a closed position. The pair of first tracks are included one on each of the sidewalls. The pair of second tracks depend downwardly from opposing sides of the cover portion and slideably engage the pair of first tracks. As such, the container lid is slideable from the closed position to an open position to form a dispensing opening between the front end of the container base and a forward edge of the cover portion.

Abstract: A content development engine which may collect, organize and distribute multimedia content and metadata associated with specific places, events and people. The CDE may be used with a game mechanic or a revenue-sharing network which may create incentives for users to contribute images, video clips, audio clips, tags, reviews or other multimedia content. When the CDE runs with a game mechanic, users may be rewarded with on-network credits, game points, “ownership” of territories on the map or reputation, and the network credits and game points may be redeemed for, e.g., cash, products, services or frequent flyer miles. When the CDE is coupled to a revenue-sharing network or an advertising engine, users may be compensated for satisfying user generated content (UGC) requests. The compensation may be monetary or non-monetary.

Abstract: A method and system for serving advertisement or sponsored content is provided. The method employed by the system may include receiving information that describes the capabilities of an ad serving device, matching advertisement and/or sponsored content to the ad serving device, and serving the advertisement and/or sponsored content. Instructions may be communicated to an individual in possession of the ad serving device, instructing the individual on a time and place for serving the advertisement or sponsored content. Confirmation that the instructions have been followed may be communicated to the system.

At least one of the plurality of calendar event parameters is selected based upon, at least in part, the comparison of the calendar event cost projection to the calendar event budget.

Abstract: A system for prioritizing meeting attendees based on a scheduling user's perspective in an event scheduling system. The system provides a user interface for a scheduling user that enables them to prioritize individual prospective attendees, or groups of prospective attendees, in a way allows for easier evaluation by the scheduling user of a greater number of potential event times for a desired event, in situations where it may not be possible to establish an acceptable event time across all prospective attendees. The scheduling user can indicate a number N of priority levels, and the disclosed system operates to supply prospective event times relevant to each priority. Accordingly, where a scheduling user has assigned prospective attendees to priorities 1 through N, where priority 1 is the highest, the disclosed system would respond by simultaneously presenting to the scheduling user with N sets of prospective event times corresponding to the assigned priorities.

Abstract: A system and method for managing access to content is provided. One example embodiment provides for a method including acts of identifying a filter of content based at least in part on the preferences a user and a subject presented in the content and presenting the content using the filter to the user. Another example embodiment provides for a system that includes a controller configured to identify a filter of content based on preferences of a user, to present content using the identified filter and to update the preferences of the user based on feedback from the user and the subjects presented in the content.
