  • Patent number: 7560966
Abstract: A method of testing connectivity through a plurality of dual purpose current mode logic (“CML”) latch circuits connected in a series is provided. Each of the CML latch circuits are operable to latch at least one output signal at a timing in accordance with at least one clock signal and having a mode control device for operating the CML latch circuit as a buffer amplifier when the at least one clock signal is inactive. The method comprises the steps of activating the mode control devices of each of the CML latches to operate each of the CML latches as a buffer; inputting a first signal to a first CML latch of the series; latching an output signal of a second CML latch of the series, the second CML latch being connected at a point in the series downstream from the first CML latch; and determining whether the output signal changes in accordance with a change in the first signal.

  • Publication number: 20090176509
Abstract: Apparatus, interfaces, and computer instructions are provided for establishing an association between a user and a declared interest, such as a brand or some other subject, and for generating a map to display the interests of one or more users. An association is established between an interest identifier, a user, and target object selected based upon an action of the user. The target object may include a location that may be specified by coordinates. The action may include selection of the at least one location by the user. Selection may include selecting a user interface feature that causes the at least one location to be selected based upon a geographical position of the user. The position may be determined by a Global Positioning System device carried by the user. Techniques are also disclosed for identifying people who are potentially interested in a given interest, or in a second interest related to a first interest, based on previously established interest-location-user associations.

  • Patent number: 7558235
Abstract: In a network comprising a plurality of channels, at least two channels are operating at different frequencies. The fixed network equipment (FNE; 124, 126) identifies a plurality of channels present at a serving site and classifies each channel into one of a plurality of bandwidth groups. All the channels in a given bandwidth group have common roaming characteristics. The FNE periodically broadcasts information relating to at least one channel in each bandwidth group present at the serving site. The FNE further identifies least one channel present at an adjacent site. Each channel present at the adjacent site is also classified in one of the plurality of bandwidth groups. The FNE broadcasts information on loading for each bandwidth group present at the adjacent site.
