  • Publication number: 20070112543
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system, and computer program code are provided for characterizing an edge break, e.g., part features and/or geometric discontinuities that could give rise to edge sharpness, as may be encountered in a chamfer, bevel, fillet and other part features. The methodology enables to accurately and consistently determine in a manufacturing setting, for example, any applicable geometric parameter for characterizing the edge break.

  • Publication number: 20070038982
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer program instructions for automatically performing test builds of natural language translated files for a software product. When a translated file is received from a translator, a test build of the translated file is executed in a translation test build environment, wherein the translation test build environment is separate from the main software product build environment. A determination is made as to whether the test build of the translated file is successful. If the test build is successful, the translated file is submitted to the main software product build environment. If the test build is unsuccessful, a log file containing error information is sent to the translator to allow the translator to fix compile errors identified in the translated file and resubmit the translated file to the translation test build environment.

  • Publication number: 20070033579
Abstract: A system and method is provided wherein a software file or packaged set of files, originally prepared in one natural language, is sent to a translator for translation into another natural language. The translated file or files is then delivered back from the translator, to an automated error checking tool. The tool performs a number of different error checking functions on the file, to determine if the file has any of a number of different types of errors resulting from the translation. Usefully, different error checking devices are provided to search for errors of different types or classes. The tool is operated in association with a firewall, to ensure that files with errors cannot be introduced into the software development-build environment. The translator is automatically notified via electronic mail if errors are found in his/her files.

  • Patent number: 7125426
Abstract: A spinal anchor assembly for securing a fixation element includes an anchor element and a twist-in cap. The anchor element is configured for attachment to a bone, typically by comprising a mono- or polyaxial screw or hook, and includes a proximal portion having an open slot for receiving the fixation element and having radially inwardly protruding flange segments. The twist-in cap is received in and closes the open slot. The proximal portion of the anchor and the cap are adapted to twist-lock together by a partial rotation of the cap from an open position to a closed position to cover the slot so as to capture the fixation element and to lock the cap in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 7008527
Abstract: The invention consists in implanting an inner tube fed at its lower portion by a fraction of regenerated catalyst inside a riser (1) of an FCC unit that is fed by catalyst via a line (14) and a feedstock via a line (3), whereby the fluid that allows this feed can be inert, in which case a staging effect of the catalyst inside the riser or else a feedstock (14) that has a tendency toward a more severe cracking inside the inner tube, then leading to an additional production of olefins, in particular propylene, is advantageous. The mixtures of fluids and catalyst are cooled above the tube via a line (13) of an inert fluid.

Abstract: A multi-resolution inspection system and method of operation. The system may comprise a first scanning system having a first resolution, wherein the first scanning system is operable to perform a first resolution scan of a surface area of an object to identify a location of a surface abnormality in the object. The system may also comprise a second scanning system having a second resolution, the second resolution being smaller than the first resolution. The second scanning system is operable to receive the location of the surface abnormality from the first scanning system and to automatically perform a second resolution scan of a defined region of the object around the location of the surface abnormality.

  • Publication number: 20050065772
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer instructions for testing software programs running on a data processing system. Text is translated from the source language to the target language to form translated text in response to a user input, containing the text in a source language. The text is entered through a computer interface in the data processing system. The translated text is inserted into a user interface of the software program to be tested to form inserted, translated text. The software program is written using the target language.
