    Abstract: A magnetic latch for fastening a closure member to a support comprising a latch assembly and a keeper assembly. The latch assembly comprises: a frame (70); a latch bolt (14) moveable between a latching position and a retracted position along a horizontal direction; and a latch bolt operating mechanism configured to move the latch bolt from its latching position to its retracted position. The latch bolt moved into its latching position by magnetic attraction. The latch bolt operating mechanism comprises an operation lever (91) and a support lever (92) both of which have a first part pivotally connected to the frame and a second part connected to the latch bolt. The latch bolt is suspended by the operation lever and the support lever and is swingable between its latching position and its retracted position.

The second-order lever reduces the force required to operate the latch bolt operating mechanism thus allowing for an increased magnetic attraction of the latch bolt towards the magnet in the keeper assembly.

    Abstract: A fixture set for fixing an accessory to a wall includes a bolt; a splitter having a sleeve portion and a wedge portion; and a metal anchor configured to be screwed to the bolt and having radially expandable arms configured to slide along surfaces of the wedge portion when the anchor is urged to slide in a first direction. The arms have a free end configured to lock the anchor against the wall upon radial expansion of the arms. The splitter has a catch situated entirely within minimum bounding cylinder of the sleeve portion. The free end of a respective arm is barbed and configured to be caught in the catch when the anchor is urged to slide in a second direction, opposite to the first direction, after having slid the anchor onto the splitter in the first direction with the barbed free end having passed the catch.

The motion converting mechanism comprises two co-operating screw threads, one (58) being provided on an outer wall of the piston (47) and the other one being provided on an inner wall of the cylinder barrel (17) or on an inner wall of a plastic tubular element fixed to the cylinder barrel. By providing the screw thread (58) on the outside of the piston (47), the diameter of the screw thread (58) is increased thereby increasing its lead and thus causing a higher volume of hydraulic fluid to be displaced during operation of the dashpot.

By providing the bearing element, it is avoided that the forces due to these lateral motions are exerted onto the second shaft that connects the lock lever to the strike.
